She's an assassin/tank so why does she randomly have a low-damage ranged multi-cast ability in her kit? Makes no sense when you look at other champs like her.
teleport, attack boost, heal, speed boost
dash, attack boost, exhaust-type thing, damage and speed boost
dash, speed boost, dash, other boost that I'm not really sure of what it does
Then,
dash, attack boost, cc, multi cast ranged ability with low damage
Sukishoo3 votesIrelia is a FIGHTER (subclass Diver), not an Assassin or a Tank.
Yi is an Assassin Fiora is a Fighter and Warwick is a Figher that just recently had a champion update.
Irelia is an outdated champion from the start of the game, of course there are things in her kit that don't mesh 100% together but they take a lot of time to rework these things and she's not one that's up for another few years.

It would even allow for it to be used in combination with other abilities to create some kind of telepathic blade zoning.

If you want to know their Tier 1 list on the end of january is Akali, Cho'Gath, Dr. Mundo, Irelia, Kayle & Morgana Dual Update, Mordekaiser, Nunu, Rammus, Shaco, Swain, Volibear, Xin Zhao, Pantheon so it's 1/13 chance. May the odds be with you.

Only thing basically confirmed as staying as is or slightly improved is Bladesurge (Q) which personally I find to be the most core ability to her current play style.
Muzét1 votesIkr. Usually they'll try as much as possible to get their priorities first in case of rework. Except if they can't set a kit around the lore. And that's why this "Tier1" list is so broad. If they were really sure they wouldn't put so many champions in this list when they only got 2 teams atm devoted to those reworks right ?
Sukishoo1 votesYeah no. The "Tiers" of their list only show the possibility of them choosing those champions. They aren't set in stone yet as they need a good direction for that champion first. There's plenty of other champions that they have said are in Tier one, a large amount are older champions like her so there's a big pool they are looking at.

Was just stating a clear fact that they have to have a direction for a champion, so she is in a large pool that they are choosing from after Urgot, so she probably won't be seen for at least 2 years if anything as there are a pretty good amount of champions that the community has had in mind of first (i.e. Nunu, Shaco, Morde).
