Keeping simple kits on champions

From a gameplay persoective, ive never understood why people dont like the fundamental kit design of champs like Yi, Annie, or Kat.... NOW NOW, im not saying they can't be cheese most of the time you see them. I'm specifically talking about Kit simplicity.

Ever had somebody say "lol that champ is so easy, play somebody with skill?"

Seems nowadays Riot wants every champion to have a million different passives to try and be bigger and better than the last. Even the reworks that come out completely axe the older, more simple kit in favor of something much more complicated to play but honestly, nothings really wrong with champions with simple kits.

I can compare this Game to a game like Yugioh Originally cards were simple, High level monsters either had high attack, powerful effects, ridiculous summoning conditions or a combination of both http://assets.dacw.co/itemimages/18804.jpg

Nowadays, thanks to good-ol powercreep the cards can just be text walls even if the monster is low-leveled. and high level monsters? Lol they can just spam summon themselves https://casualyugiohwithandi.files.wordpress.com/2013/08/small-dragon-rulers.jpg

I imagine it would be easier to balance, i also imagine it would be easier to design. And it would definitely keep the game noob friendly.

Now then I leave this here for discussion, Should riot release champions with kits that arent so diffucult all the time? I say yes, but i think a discussion about this topic would be fun to have, and hey, maybe i can be swayed in the other direction.

Aurelion Sol is pretty simple, honestly.

They should but at the same time the champion who is simpler shouldnt be as powerful as the ones that aren't for example draven out of all the ad carries probably has one of the if not the highest skill caps. He feels very rewarding to play however.

tbh i love deep and complex champion kits, aslong they dont hurt the balance at all. i love being rewarded for being decent at a hard champ. but on the other side it feels unrewarding at the same time for example you play Azir and the enemy has Annie and kills you with a flash tibbers combo. and you are like "why im even making so much effort with a champ, when i could simply pick a "easy noobchamp" and win with much less effort?
