So Patch 9.3 PD is going to be a 600 Damage Shield On A Pure Crit Item

And this is after the nerfs to Lethality Items back around the end of season 7, item 3916 , hard nerfs to literally every burst/damage rune, buffs to armor and MR in runes, AND Ignite nerf. This isn't even mentioning the many nerfs to individual assassin champions towards the end of last season. Note that out of every single one of those assassin champions, who has been getting progressively weaker, who is going to get fucked by an ADC randomly getting a 600 damage shield, none of them can use crit at all. So this won't even be a GA scenario, where the assassin and AD can both build it, and then trade each other's CD. If an assassin builds this new PD, he is losing out on a full item's worth of damage, while it fits right into an ADC's build perfectly.

Am I the only one seeing a fucking problem here? But I guess the board is happy as long as dive and burst are both completely unviable, and each game is a 50 minute farm-fest into one single showdown of keep-the-carry-alive.

People have been complaining about how marksman are weak and that damage in the game is too high. The devs are seeking to remedy that.

The shield is only 600 HP at level 18. It starts at 240 and scales. It's also on a 90-second cooldown and only lasts for 2 seconds.

It's not a problem, current Pd grants 12% damage reduction. If you have 2000 hp the enemy needs to burn through, ignoring any healing or regen, then it negates 240 damage. But again, that's if you have 2000 hp with no healing, or regen, which everyone has regen, and an adc always builds lifesteal like a item 3080 so by the time you kill them PD has probably negated 600. The only difference is now its all at once and ON A CD. While the old one is constant but less noticeable.

I don't see how a 600 HP shield at max lvl is going to do much when that equates to what? an ability or two from most champions? an auto attack from most ADCs? if the item results to be too strong it'll get nerfed but also saying "hard nerf" to what is essentially very minor number changes to damage runes and somehow thinking that 1 extra armor and 2 extra MR per rune is somehow going to do much? or how 1 less AP and 1 less AD is also going to do much? ADCs literally blow up from anyone even looking at them in an even remotely funny way that is not going to change just because they built an item that grants them a shield every 90 seconds after they are already low and lasts what? 2 seconds?

When you realize 410 true damage and greivious wounds on ignite dealing 1/5 of your hp and lowering your healing to counter it is a thing in the game that you see 3 to 4 roles take.tp is usless now except for coordinated teams, so tops take ign, mids take ign, supps take ign, and adcs sometimes take ign.
