What the freaking fuck? can a red explain to me why darius can't ulti while being rooted? darius only leap and doesn't move forward or anything

It's because he jumps. Idk about you, but if I had my feet chained together by a light binding, I wouldn't wanna be swinging my axe randomly in the air whilst jumping.

i don't know how many time riot said that logic isn't important in a game, if your rand are taken like jax when he casts his E, how comes he can still attack? idk about you but if i had my hands busy because i'm turning a weapon i can't attack in the same time

The jump is part of his ult, if he can't jump, he can't ult. Pretty easy to understand if you ask me.

Darius' ult is probably being considered a movement ability when it shouldn't be. Probably a bug that went unnoticed.

It's not "probably" it is a movement ability. You leap foward for something like a 100 units.

I've seen Darius move. The ability is 100 units greater range than his AA but he doesn't close the distance iirc.

He does close a bit of that distance. (Not the full distance, but enough to land 1 AA after the leap)

Clue is in the name, ROOT. You are rooted to the ground, how can Darius gracefully jump into the air to perform his guillotine if he is rooted to the ground.

Leaving behind all the jumping statements, I've seen Darius' close distance on me when ulting, so I'll assume the game considers it as a mobility spell.
