Then if you don't like it so much, why not just not pick Support? If you pick Support, either primary or secondary, you should be prepared to play Support. The overwhelming fact of Probability that no matter what people will be placed based on what chances there are. In this case, there's always a 20% chance (maybe give or take a few percent, depending on priority of a certain role by its randomizing generator) you'll end up getting your role. No "ifs, ands or buts" about it, unless Riot actually goes and says something about the probability being biased. Yes, it does end up being 50% because you only have two roles you can play, but it's still an unbiased probability unless stated otherwise.
So yes, in my honest opinion you have an unbiased probability to be chosen in a certain role. It just so happens that the teams you get placed on need a Support (because they already have your other role chosen by someone else).
Support is my secondary, so I don't hate playing it, I just don't like that it gives it to me ONLY and never my primary (top). If I go top/mid I got neither cause I sat waiting, and I don't jungle (see: I'm bad at it), so fill is dangerous as jungle isn't popular either.
I really don't hate support, I just don't want to play it every single game or have to wait an extra 10 minutes.
Also it is a lot more than a 20% chance for support, as it is the least wanted role, which means you are going to be much more likely to be placed in it. Sure there are 5 roles, but 20% chance isn't accurate given the literal probability. I get the reason, but it isn't any less frustrating.
