This update is the worst thing Riot has ever done to this game. I have never encountered so many bugs(yes I'm aware they'll patch them out.). GETTING SICK OF MY SHOP BREAKING MID GAME, AND MY RUNES NOT WORKING. The game has NEVER been this severely imbalanced(Yes I'm aware they'll do balance passes). My main champs got completely dumpstered. The rune pages are BORING. the old masteries/runes were like 2years old, and were more fun than these runes. Old runes/masteries allowed for customization.... New ones don't. You pick the only route that works. the end. Woopty doo so fun.

kids are a bunch of cry babies, its the first day try some runes out see what you like, i personally am enjoying kleptomancey ezreal.

Yeah, I agree, I was pretty much done with the game before this season, and now that I see that its only gotten worse, 95% chance im quitting within a month or two, I might give it one last shot before i uninstall in a couple months.

It's been downhill since the jungle item rework of season 5. Though I'd say season 5 and 6 were enjoyable.

Nothing about season 7 was fun... and 8 is more of the same... but WORSE.

I like to think rito has done far worse. Letting things like Ardent go rampant for 4+ months despite saying they were trying to make worlds better than previous years, their constant release of new characters that are either broken or significantly underwhelming to the point in which they removed the part of the article with "champion counters", the whole issue midway through this season where they reworked zac/malz for literally no reason and made them so imbalanced that they had to heavily nerf the former and semi-revert the latter. Rito has done a lot of stupid stuff this year, this is hardly the cream of the crop.

you are talking about changes to a different paint color when what riot just did was demo and rebuild a whole building cause it wasn't attractive to new people who wanted to use the building, without caring about all the people already in the building who were comfortable with it

aint no amount of new player friendly garbage going to actually get new players through our incredibly toxic community of shitty sub-plat players.

95% of new players are still going to quit before they hit lvl 10. Because smurfs ruin their learning experience completely and theres nothing that can be done about it.

The difference now being that the new system actively de-incentivizes smurfs, as unless those smurfs spend hundreds of dollars it'd take a loooong time to unlock characters for those accounts.

it wont change anything, they do it to stomp, smurfs typically don't care about unlocking champs, they just care about steamrolling new players and feeling good about doing it.

they need new players to feel good about themselves so they spend money cause $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ is the only reason to make such a massive change that generally is only helpful for beginners
