Why would you go in when you HAVE TO WIN THE TRADE. Just for context there is no, “if I play it just right I might win”. It’s literally “if I don’t kill them in 1 second I may have lost the game."

It’s boring to watch, it’s boring to play. Ask yourself if you want to live your life knowing that one mistake means it’s over. NO YOU DO NOT. That’s why we mandate safety ratings. The safety rating of league is one mistake you are done. I saw a double kill minute 1 in a 5v5 the other day. The game was unwinnable. The whole team even agreed to FF at15.

IT WAS THE MOST BORING THING IVE SEEN. It was honestly worse than the S2 tank meta. ( which I enjoyed with its CONSTANT SKIRMISHES)

Fuck riot do you want your game to be played? Pretty soon we will be back to a farm meta because no one wants to risk that first blood ending the game at 5 minutes.

Haha but seriously, I do enjoy the game a ton. I play nearly 5-6 matches a day, which I believe is a bit more than 'barely'. Comments like yours are really undermining and don't help discussion. You push away and devalue the opinion of those who do enjoy the current meta or the state of the game.

EDIT: I'm not opposed to changes made in the game or to be made for the future of the game. I'm all for the game becoming a better experience through implementation and actual discussion. My point was that ruling out any opposing views devalues discussion and debate and makes for very one-sided opinions and results.

and also people that say fuck you to people like you don't usually have a great selection of vocabulary at their disposal at all times, and when in a crunch and failing to find the words to properly describe their point they try to instead throw vulgarity at the issue and hope the issue sorts itself out.

well people are bad at the words, that's not what they want at all.

people don't want long games, they want games that feel like they could stand to win the whole time, they want their choices to matter the whole way through regardless of their mistakes, and they want to be able to make a handful of mistakes without the heavy repercussions in the game.

those people usually bring up a similar version of that in what they say.

This is a very true statement. It is devaluing in game knowing that one mistake minutes 1-5 can literally determine me winning. It puts alot of stress and pressure playing champions that are anything but top tier, and creates a very negative experience when your team did make that one mistake, is trying their hardest to win, but because of that one mistake loses anyways.

Actually what i think you wanted to kinda say. They are not saying fck you bcs you like the game , they would not play it either if they did not like it right ? Welp that is kinda true, they do like the game but not as much as they did game evolved and majority of old players think it's for worse including me (playing since S2). IMO game got popular bcs you could outplay someone and win of being good and ahead now game is to ******* it's to safe minions mean to much (i feel like farming is boring as f) xp means to much kills and outplays not so much and that goes even further in pro those games are just unwatchable how fcking disgusting they are compared to S3 ... The last time i had any fun watching that was Misfits S7? , S3 and part of S4 few random games here and there.

Although they added some good things they mostly destroyed the game we loved , ofc you might love it but we feel like it's worse by the patch . My feelings are here and there mostly negative i would not recommend anyone to play this at this state i just hope that things get back to the way there kinda were so i could enjoy it again. Until then i cry about crypto currency that ruined me buying new PC and moving away from this for good.

This post almost feels like I could have written it. I miss when there were clearly defined "outplays" and when you could have pride in the play you just made.

Now I just feel like if I don't instantly kill the enemy adc/assassin I probably just lost the trade. I think the big change was the focus towards damage instead of having a nice balance between damage and tank.

Community kept crying for the removal of tanks, but really tanks are what kept the game in a happy role rotation. Now we are just in a rotation of whomever has the highest nuke.

they have an objective to accomplish no matter how they twist and bend the game without realizing the consequences of it. That objective is more important than the actual gameplay of the game. Which is to make games shorter. We should probably ask them if they still enjoy league of legends or are just being like the minecraft creator.

Yeah the whole reason LCS games are drawn out farmfests is because one bad play can mean the whole game.

Sure the Azir could go for that juicy 5 man Shurima shuffle into 5 man Gnar ult but if you fuck it up just know you're gonna lose mid outer turret, inner turret, inhibitor turret, inhibitor, Baron and probably a Dragon too.

I'll admit I watch a lot of streamers and stream highlights, in addition to watching my residentsleeper hero Corrupt Hope. I've seen quite a few interesting team compositions and definitely a lot of 'off-meta' picks. I think when you're high elo (I'm currently low-mid plat) you CAN play off-meta, most players just choose not to.

I dont know which game you are playing. Game are always winnable and are NOT lost through one mistake but a series of those. Maybe its not the game lengths fault but one of your mindset, surrendering at 15min is literally something I only do when I dont mind losing.[slayer-jinx-catface]

These are the fucking PROS that are avoiding fighting because they don't want "one mistake" to lose them the games. I'm not talking about my trash tier games, or any other trash tier games. THIS IS THE FUCKING PROS DOING IT.

Sure its a series of mistakes, but First blood leads to second, and third, and dragon, and tower, and boom games done. It doesn't take that much with the snowball mechanics currently in the game.

Comparing pro play to normal games or even high elo gameplay is nuts. In pro play a whole team knows exactly what they have to do to close out a game fast after few mistakes, but even there multiple mistakes or tactical errors have to been made for a game to be over.

Outside of pro play however countless mistakes are made by both parties and every player plays more for himself than his team. Even if the game is "obviously" lost you can turn it around if you capitilize on the mistakes the enemys are making.

It's probably why they made the baron buff changes, so LCS teams don't have to take risks to close-out a game. Just recently in the LCK SKT vs Jin-Air have been playing 1 hour and 30 mins matches. With harder pushing minions they won't have to step forward to procure inhibitors and towers and easily close out games.

Aside from that it stinks having the games balance revolve around pro players. They're much better at managing their turrets uptime, unlike lower ranked players.

But now, neither team will allow the other to get the baron buff. They'll try to punish anyone who tries to take baron, leading to the pros just tiptoeing around baron leading to longer games because the pros are getting more and more risk-averse.
