Why i play Noct top over Noct jungle.

#1 Jungling this season is a horrible experience. #2 Nocturne is a extremely strong top laner, with unlimited sustain, defense from ranged top laners, and the welfare stats to duel ANY melee top laner(besides Renekton). #3 the nature of his kit by default keeps the lane hard shoved onto enemy tower, which allows you to collapse on mid, assist your jungler, and when you hit level 6, you can protect your jungler and mid laner with your R, since youll always be free to do so. #4 probably the best TP bot lane gank potential of any top laner in the game, which is kind of a big deal since bot lane matters so much, especially in solo que.

cons: Tanky diver top laner+tanky diver jungler/or Lee will make you go 0-5 under your tower. Renekton will stomp you. Other than that, there really aren't any.

Nocturne will go oom after 2 spell rotations

Nocturne will be unable to freeze due to his passive

Nocturne has no escapes

Noc will get dominated by anything with range longer than his nose

So yeah Noc will work in silver, but then again, everything works in silver

Corrupting potion+Biscuits+Time Warp tonic lasts you to lvl6. -Yes he cant freeze, not well at least. -No he doesn't get dominated by ranged champs. Aim your Q to hit as many minions as possible+poke, run at ranged champ, mid way, Umbrablades the wave(He has to run from you if u tag him with Q, which allows you a window to CS) Umbrablades also recovers you from any poke you did take, assuming you position yourself to maximize its healing. -Land a fear, spell shield a CC, Q trail. He can escape lots of top+jungle combos, but sure, there are a few he cant, just like 90% of melee top laners. -after hundreds of plat+ games, Renekton is his only glaring weakness. Since Renekton is essentially the same thing, without mana limitations and tower diving potential. Whereas Nocturne has more roaming/jungle protection potential.
