i fell into the noob trap at lvl 12 and spent a bunch of ip on tier 2 runes and i never looked at it since
runes is pain
i want to play like 5 champions but i still need to complete my rune page

This will hold you off until you reach gold elo

or the classic 15/9/12
I would say that the way the game is now (early game is paramount, early game snowballs > mid game dominance > end games before late game), early runes are the way to go.
Flat runes should be prioritized so that you are strongest pre-level 6, giving the best chance to win duels or to not die pre 6. Those early deaths nowadays seem more punishable than ever
PhantomGG1 votesI personally believe it is actually the pros giveing you a basic tip on what they normmally do, for I know for fact pros have tons of different rune pages for different types of situations. However those are strats you don't exactly want to reveal to your opponents, so yeah, I see most pros making their guides as simple as impossible on purpose to avoid giveing to much info to enemy analysts.

Talk to ze hand1 votesan additional advice though.dont play ranked without proper runes and without experiencing on the game first.you'll stuck at bronze 5 for much longer time than play normals until you are ready and then play ranked.
