fps locked at 30

I'm not sure what happened but the game is now locked at 30 for me when it used to be upwards to 240.

Client bugged out or did I miss something? I even turned everything down to very low to see if that would help but it's still locked at 30.

Now this is an important problem, because your super-evolved human eye is too fucking fast for 30 frames per second, right?

To be fair you can totally tell the difference when you've been playing in the 200s. Dick.

There is an option to change the frame rate cap somewhere in the in-game options, I presume you've made sure you haven't accidentally changed that to 30?

(Also, I'm pretty sure there is literally no difference between 144+ fps and 200+ fps due to monitor limitations, and that's assuming a pretty nice monitor. In many cases the monitor will be even more limiting than what your graphics card can potentially output.)

I get upwards of 140 fps, except that my monitors are both 60hz. At some point I'll probably get one that can manage 144fps, but for now I'm perfectly happy.

Yeah, so as far as I'm aware there's technically no difference between 60 FPS and 600 FPS for you in that case.

I've actually had it display 600+ fps if I'm at lowest settings before because my computer is entirely too expensive (and I look forward to getting a gtx 1080 and seeing what nonsense league shows for fps then), but it can be important to keep in mind that the number is actually meaningless beyond what your monitor can actually display.

It is still on uncapped framerate as always. I find it strange that I activated the "wait for vertical sync" option in the menu and it actually INCREASED my fps back up to 60. I feel like it definitely may just be a bug but I can stand 60 fps I suppose... sigh
