Why hasn't Azir received a small rework by now?

I decided to pick up Azir again with the hopes that his bugs were fixed. Every single game I played I had an instance where my ult's damage didnt register. Even the enemy team felt bad for me.

So my question is: do you remember when Zed first came out? Everyone complained that he was bad and riot made a small rework to how his ultimate works and now he's played almost 90% of the time.

Why not change something small like increasing his leash range? Or removing the cast time on W? How about you rework Q an make it do what it says it's supposed to do and make the soldiers dash to the TARGET location and not randomly around the location.

You can even make it so that the leash we see only appears when a soldier can attack and not when he's standing still. I'm just going to keep mentioning stuff with the hopes that someone might like an idea. How about make his ultimate surround him with soldiers similare to jarvan's ult where nobody can enter unless they blink in.

Let's change his E. Let's make it so that the shield strength scales off AP instead of a HP. Let's make Azir op. I think he's earned it after all of the bugs and problems he's had. Let me know what you think. They changed how Zed's ult works and it changed his popularity. Please do the something similar for Azir!

U wot m8?

Zed was tier 1 position 1 almost immediately on release. He got nerfs to his shadow and his W to bring him in line but it did nothing... the "rework to his ultimate" was considered a massive nerf by most people until they realized he was basically on the same power level (Massively op).

Zed was garbage when he was released because he was made with s3's penetration changes in mind, and thus only got strong when s3 rolled around.

No he was not. He was strong right out of the gate... the S3 penetration didn't make Zed powerful, he benefitted from League of Cleaver but he was nothing compared to the Pantheon/Xin/Lee wave that came in. Again, look at his patch history and realize that he got nerfed almost non-stop since release (Shadow duration/Cooldowns/etc.)

Okay this post is about Azir not Zed. I was there during his release and I read the forums. How can you say that his current ultimate is a nerf? Look up any "top 5 zed plays" and the majority of them rely on him instantly "undoing" his jump to return to safety.

Turret diving a low health champion is easier now. Changing frame data to how his W works hardly did anything. Cooldowns don't really matter on energy champions.

People were complaining that as soon as you ulted someone you died instantly and needed the broken Leblanc mechanic to "undo" your jump. It wasn't until Faker started using him that caused everyone to jump on the bandwagon

He doesn't need more buffs. Most people just don't know how to play him.

More buffs? What buffs did he receive? The last thing I saw was a nerf to his W

He doesn't need buffs, he has his powerspike at midgame. Riot does need to fix his E though. It doesn't even work 70% of the time.

You have to actually accurately highlight the soldier you want to jump to. I used to have problems with it too, but now I don't.

I never realized that. I thought it was just auto-cast to the nearest soldier... this might help me, thank you.

Haha no because the idea is to have multiple soldiers. You might want to jump to the furthest one. I learned this when I was practicing his W-Q-E jump. You have to highlight your mouse exactly where the soldier is going to Lunge so that the dash registers instantly.
