Am i right in not picking Katarina when i see janna?

Even if i know i can snowball my lane, thier comp has very little cc, etc. i generally will not pick kat into janna or any assasin really because she feels like a hard counter to Kat and company. Kata is probably my best champion but she feels too risky to play now with the nerfs

Well that and she has so much shit in her kit (she basically has everything you could ever want in a support, hell she can initiate although it isnt exactly good) andddd her shield gives people like half thier hp sometimes. Can assassins still carry well with her on a team? Can Kata stil fuction?

Eh, Janna can just go tanky enchantress and survive the initial burst of Kat. She then has a Shield, Ult, and Tornado to make Kat's life hell.

But u dont aim at killing janna. U aim at avoiding janna cc. Then destroy adc or mid. Arent u good kat?

How do you plan to avoid a Janna Tornado/Ult if she stands on her AD/Mid knowing what your trying to do? She can also grab a Locket for a AoE Shield to go on top of her shield.

Janna and Lulu are big F yous to assassins and divers, it's how they are designed. So a good Janna isn't going to let a Kat just roll through her AD/Mid.

Ya I'm not a good Kat, never really got into her, but I play Mid and I play assassins, I've laned Vs Kat more times then I wish I had, but that goes both ways. While Kat adepts, so does the Janna.

At the end of the day, Janna's job and design is to counter champs like Kat.

Make sure you leave a dagger there before she can ult, then e straight back in when she does. I do the same with Diana R when a janna pulls that shit. I'd never say stop playing a champ because there is a counter to them, I'd say learn to play around it instead.

Good to see there are also people here who consider not picking an assassin when seeing Lulu/Janna in the pick phase, instead of picking them anyway and then come to the boards in tears and rage how the support does his job. [slayer-pantheon-thumbs]
