???????? Vlad is fucking disgusting even in bronze

Be aggressive, if you let him trade when he wants to it is going to go shockingly in his favor due to the crimson rush bonus. But his Q has a decent cd at low levels making crimson rush come up rather infrequently. Get in his face after the buff fades or he uses it on a minion and he will basically be forced to back off because of his rather low damage output.

People often overestimate him in lane from my experience because he plays fast and loose with his hp, flaunting his ability to just drain it back up. But if you become the one who knocks he folds like a house of cards.

Because of this champions that do well against him are ones that can easily close the distance to ensure that if he wants cs he is he is going to have to be in danger (Think Fiora or Riven, high damage output + mobility). Jump at him and force him out of lane, with W it is often unlikely to net a kill but without the items to beef him up Vlad is just a bad mage with low range and no CC. Stay on top of him gold wise and it becomes difficult for him to do anything since his range forces him to put himself in relative danger if he ever wants to do damage himself.

At least this is what really gives me problems when I play Vlad. Hope this helps!
