People here don't think I can achieve it even though I been a league veteran for many years and been here since season 1.
My question to everyone is what does it take to be a diamond player? I have not played a single rank game in my life so the possibility is still there and I have the self-belief I play like a diamond player base on kda and objective.
Deep Terror Nami1 votesWell, the first step to being Diamond is playing Ranked, so I think you should give it a go and we'll see. Champion skill will get you to Plat they say, but game knowledge and rotation etc. is what gets you to Diamond.

Step 1. Buy Soraka. Step 2. Buy wards. Step 3. Hit W on whoever is dying. If W isn't working press R. Step 4. Laugh at lower elos and their "mechanics"

ULTRA RAMOOSE1 votesNope, the best way to get to diamond is specialize in hyper-carries; kalista, vayne, etc. than carry games until you push past the filth the mmr system matches you with, as you climb the oxygen thins out the bads and you start getting paired up with competent players.

main support. know how to support
main mid or top. know how to crush lane.
main jungle. know how to read the map to know where everyone is so you dont die. the primary power of a jungler isnt even ganking. its not feeding while farming. as long as you dont feed while farming, you win as jungle. as such i believe jungle is the easiest role to get to diamond with
in my opinion "objective based play" is NOT how to reach diamond
you reach diamond with farm based play (for jungle or mid/top). farm based play COMBINED with being stonger than your lane opponent and being able to kill him while never dying yourself
kills are the objective. diamond players are better than silver/gold/plat players at knowing how to get kills for themself and prevent the neemy from getting kills
after kills farm is the next objective. and nothing else matters. only FARM and KILLS matter. the rest comes from that

My suggestion for you is to play to improve, not for any specific rank.
