Social experiment on how the community views intentional feeders... relocated on riot suggestion

woodvsmurph··1 votes·902 views

So I had an idea today. An idea to test out and prove my point about trolls and intentional feeders. I'm going to do a 2nd post with a game viewed and analyzed from 2 player perspectives to help others visualize this further. But for now... to the point.

I've made several posts discussing how I get people who intentionally feed or are boosted a full division (ex: bronze 5 would be playing silver 5 match) and how none of these people get punished. I've given thorough breakdowns using examples and logic to document exactly how such people were in fact intentionally feeding - not having a bad game. I've played the game long enough - as main or secondary in every role at some point - to know the difference. I look back at some games where teammates flame bot for being 1/7/0 and I defend bot - because they got screwed over by the team. I look back at others and say that in fact a 7/7/2 bot did feed - before being spoon fed kills in teamfights to catch her back up. So... I know the difference between inting and having a bad game. For those who wish to challenge me on this or argue that dying 6 times in lane is never intentional feeding... consider this: Dyrus and Wickd - 2 former PRO players would look at a 1/3/2 adc who was out of position and taking a bad trade and call that feeding when the adc dies. So...

What's my point?

  1. Intentional feeding is not being punished. This creates an unhealthy game environment and puts high levels of frustration and stress on even the nicest of players.
  2. More often than not, such players will not respond to any requests or demands of their teammates to work in a united fashion. They will continue doing the same bad play(s) all game long. Furthermore, they will look to flame teammates for having a poor kda even if said teammate's kda is understandable due to events such as being camped by jg all laning phase or being repeatedly ganked by a fed enemy laner (from a different lane) any time they leave tower. Rather than look to improve or help a teammate by giving them good advice, they just look to harass others and bring them down. This is also against the summoner's code and is a reportable offense. Yet if someone were to say... snap from having 7 games straight of one or two inting teammates throw every game and teammates blame said player, the player who snaps at the intentional feeder and flamer is the one who is punished while the latter gets off free. This is not ok.
  3. Should a player get punished for snapping at teammates when they intentionally feed and then flame said player for trying to get them to play smart and work with the team to make good plays? Yes. Just because you're teammates are toxic and intentionally feeding does not excuse you calling them shit to get back at them; however, calling them shit does not mean the toxic intentional feeder should be off the hook. And this is where the boards community, in-game community, ifs, and Riot has been 100% hypocritical.

Allow me to demonstrate... Boards, in-game, ifs, and Riot have had access to my posts about this issue, have gotten numerous tickets, and have done nothing to punish a single intentional feeder or toxic player unless my entire team has also reported them and i never said anything to them that could be deemed as rude. Logically presented cases on boards and in reports go ignored. So an adc who tries to 2v2 the enemy bot duo when they enemy is 7/1/2 (adc) and 2/0/7 (sup), my bot lane is logically going to lose. Both duo's full hp, the enemy duo got their kda entirely 1v1. My duo is forcing the fight by the enemy tower; not getting shoved in and harassed under their own tower. The outcome of such a situation is known before the fight even starts; the enemy duo will win. They'd even win 2v3 if our jg came to help them. So, that would be evidence of a bot lane intentionally feeding.

Now, assume I'm being 2v1'd by the enemy jg and toplaner for about 90% of the game for the first 15 min once the enemy jg grabs his first pair of buffs and does one more camp to grab level 3 before camping top. Why? Because this is a laughably standard situation for me to have to deal with. Now, more often than not, i will trade about evenly with my opponent despite being 1v2, getting no help from team - not even wards, and often enough being counter-picked. Knowing I'm giving my teammates a gank-free laning phase (maybe they get ganked 1x in 15 min) and my jungler free gank opportunities, I should expect my teammates to go about even if not win their lanes due simply to map pressure. Enemy laners have to play safer due to threat of jg ganks, teammates can play agro and punish enemy mistakes harder.

When bot gives enemy adc a double kill lvl 3, I say nothing. When they die a 2nd time for 1 reply kill - having forced the fight by flashing under the enemy tower to start it, I ask them to pls just play safe - you don't need to win lane. A minute or two later, they die a 3rd time - this time despite jg backup. I've been ganked 4x, I've been zoned off 1.5 waves of cs and xp by enemy jg sitting on a ward in top river for a full min when they KNOW that I know they're there, I've been flash ganked 2 of those times. I've had the enemy midlaner tp top to deny me finishing a kill on my lane opponent. And despite absorbing all that pressure and being encouraged to just play safe and farm up, my bot lane is now 1/6/1 combined. Due to the repeated ganks top and TRYING to make plays to give my team an advantage SOMEWHERE, I'm 2/3/0. When my adc dies a 4th time... trying to shove out and 1v2 the enemy bot duo, I again stress that they pls just play safe, hug tower, and farm. The reply is... shut up top - feeding noob. Mid tells me to calm the fuck down and stop typing. Bot duo continues to feed. Jungle continues to try to stabilize a clearly intentionally feeding bot lane instead of give counter-ganks top where we could 100% get 2 for 0 or 2 for 1 kill trades all game and gain our team an advantage SOMEWHERE. Or, he'll just counter-jungle, make risky 1v4 invades with no backup, and die.

Blah blah blah... 15 plus minutes later with this type of play being repeated the entire time...for my 7th game straight I finally lose it and tell adc or somebody they're an idiot or they're retarded. Why? They just forced a 3v5 vs a bunch of fed enemies when our mid is dead, I'm 3/4 the way across the map and have no tp right now and they rip into me for being a shitty teammate, losing them the game with my build, not grouping (I'm pulling 2+ people to my lane - you'd rather have 5v5 than 4v3?), going in stupidly (I cc'd the fed enemy adc on the frontline of their team and got her to 1/4hp for you all when i grouped to 5v5 because you can't handle me splitting 1v2). Yeah, completely contradicting themselves and tearing apart a teammate who is literally pulling more weight than 3 of them combined - despite being flamed by them all game, being tilted by having intentionally feeding teammates for the 7th straight game, and being camped and counter-picked from min 3 on the entire game.

Now, I do not argue that I should - and have been - punished for calling my teammate an idiot. I do agree that's not acceptable and ifs is correct to punish such behavior. Where we differ is on the response towards the intentionally feeding teammate(s) - some of whom have also been toxic to me for much longer duration within the game. While they avoid saying something like idiot, flaming someone for dying to a flash 1v3 gank when they can't even leave tower to ward the river due to being camped and getting no aid is definitely not acceptable behavior. Telling someone they are selfish trash noob who never groups when said player literally zoned 3 people for his team 2 fights in a row and is the only teammate that had any kill threat on their opponents is a blatant lie and very toxic. Yelling at someone for engaging a 5v5 that your team loses only to engage a 3v5 after you respawn from getting aced - a 3v5 you didn't have to take - is completely illogical and toxic.

So, why in the world are such players left unpunished by Riot and ifs? Why do boards claim that trying to 2v2 a 7/1/2 and 2/0/7 enemy bot duo that you (bot duo) fed is completely understandable and not in any way intentional feeding. That such play should not be punished when the feeding duo is forcing the fight by the enemy tower; not trying desperately to defend themselves under their own (something i would consider having a bad game rather than inting). Why can players like that flame a teammate the entire game who is doing nothing wrong and trying to give them encouragement and friendly HELPFUL (not flaming) advice, yet receive no punishment?

So. To prove how hypocritical, I made an 'unrelated' post examining a fictitious real life scenario of someone making similar types of mistakes but in a real world job. Sure, it can be argued that this is a video game and therefore it doesn't matter; however, competitive integrity argues that in RANKED it does matter. I will give you that it matters LESS than the real world, but it still does matter. So, let's follow the link below and see how much the opinion changes against the intentional feeder (not even a toxic one) in the real world...

https://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/general-discussion/OLN5lIA1-my-friend-lost-his-job

The fictitious friend = intentional feeder *I didn't make his "mistakes" intentional since the boards doesn't view a bot lane like i described above as "intentionally' feeding store = team

boss = me ; the teammate who tries to get team to chill, stop forcing bad plays over and over again, etc.

The in quotes parts are posts by others - the part after the hyphens is my translation of their quote into league.

On the off chance people rush to delete comments, let me post a few of the better ones here: "6 mistakes is a lot of money and resources wasted. Especially in a short span of time." - so 6 deaths from repeat forcing fights you shouldn't take is... bad

"You are being paid to make money for the business not lose it. An honest mistake still costs the business money, and something like writing down an order wrong is a bonehead mistake." - even if it's a mistake, it still costs not just the individual, but the whole store/team

"It's not unfair to your friend; he fucked up, multiple times. Every single one of those mistakes was avoidable, yet he did it 6 times. When you make a mistake you should analyze why it happened and how to prevent it. Ensuring a customer's order is correct has been a solved problem for a very long time, yet your friend was incapable of simply verifying an order." - forcing bad fights is avoidable, doing it should make you re-evaluate the situation before you force another one... and you shouldn't force another one. Repeating the same mistake that is very simple to correct is unacceptable

"Six expensive mistakes in two months?

Unless there were extenuating circumstances, that is absolutely a justified firing." - temp banning or punishing the intentional feeder in some way is absolutely the correct call - unless it were a situation where like they got 4v2 camped and tower dove all game w/o any help from team (which is not the case for people I've reported)

"That's a pretty short time for 6 mistakes like that." - way too many "mistakes" for it to be "having a bad game"; it's intentional feeding and it's not ok.

"It would be understandable if you said "one simple, honest mistake", but the fact that it's "six 'honest' mistakes" is almost comical. That amount of mistakes is simply unacceptable in a professional environ of any sort." - if this were normal game it might be ok (not even sure if it would be ok then), but this is ranked; intentional feeding is NOT ok.

I could go on, but I think I've made my point. Also, I've had plenty of games where teammates due to having a bad game, but then worked WITH their team to make GOOD decisions and at least TRIED honestly to help win the game. Win or lose, I don't get toxic with people in such matches because I'm not being asked to carry intentional feeders who treat me like shit all game and threaten to report me for something as trivial as asking them to help ward. So the point is... the toxic people Riot needs to be dealing with and removing from the game is not so much people like me who have snapped at teammates after way too many games of toxic intentionally feeding teammates ruining the game for me, but... the people who are toxic feeders that go around intentionally feeding, flaming others with literally 0 logic to their words, and ruining the game for others. Again - not saying my punishments haven't been justified - but I am saying that were such horrible toxic intentional feeders to be dealt with properly, I'd never say such things to begin with. And Riot would have dealt with the root of the problem of toxicity - killing two birds with one stone.

Wow - if any of you read all that and aren't spamming hateful comments or downvotes I commend you and wish you the best of luck in all your games. Thanks for stopping by.

This doesn't matter at all. Not everyone are pros (literally 99.9% of then arent) and thus not everyone should be expected to be held up to pro standards.

Ive known bronze 5 players who could LEGIT be 0/30 and have been the entire game trying as hard as their capable of playing.

You CANNOT ban someone just because they are bad.

woodvsmurph1 votes

I didn't say that. It matters WHY they have that kda. Are they 0/30/0 because they keep taking fights they clearly have 0 chance of winning? Or are they that kda because they've been focused really hard by enemy ganks and tp plays or have a teammate trolling and making it impossible for them to lane? Are they running it down lane and diving in 1v5 without any need to force that fight? Or are they playing in a way that gives their teammates a CHANCE to help them? It matters.

If they're being camped, if they're giving their teammates a chance to help them but the teammates either aren't helping or can't help... I'm in the corner of the 0/30/0 guy defending him. I'm doing everything I can to help him. But if he's just running it down lane, taking fights he KNOWS he can't possibly win, FORCING bad plays he doesn't need to make, and refusing to work with the rest of the team... he deserves punishment. It's no better in that scenario than calling someone a piece of shit or going and stealing all their cs wherever they go on the map to farm.

Hence why I SPECIFY examples. You can't ban someone for being bad, you SHOULD ban someone for INTENTIONALLY throwing the game. Again - one bad play... whatever (we all mess up) - 10 bad plays in a row doing the same stuff? People know better. 10 bad plays, but not repeating the same mistake over and over and over? You're just new, but you're trying. Keep up the effort, you'll improve and I'm okay that you aren't perfect. See the difference between those 3 scenarios? Two are people having a bad game. One is someone intentionally throwing - someone who deserves a punishment.

Except people dont know better.

Your assuming everyone has the capabilities to do good if they tried.

Except some people WILL plateau even at bronze 5 and no matter how hard they try they will NEVER go "maybe i shouldnt dive the enemy 1v3"

It simply isnt in them. You cant expect everyone to have judgment and play capabilities of ANY skill level. Let alone ban them for bad plays.

False. If I burn my hand by touching a hot stove, I don't need to burn my hand 10x to figure out not to touch a hot stove.

There is a rank for people incapable of realizing that a 1/7/0 adc can't beat a 7/1/0 adc. But it is not this rank.

If the enemy team is capable of such intelligence, at least SOME members of my team are capable of such intelligence, and I am capable of such intelligence... the person taking that fight for the 7th time is capable of such intelligence. If they are not, then they are playing on a stolen account much higher elo than theirs, or they bought the account. Both of which are... illegal.

Boom, done, end of story. You can argue all you want, but you have no validity to any such argument against this.

What argument? You simply said i dont suck so they shouldnt suck.

Thats not a good argument.

Also no people NEVER get better. I know an IRL challenger. And ive watched his games. He STILL gets people going 1/7 in challenger.

woodvsmurph1 votes

Again, you are using a half baked argument and shoving words in my mouth that I did not say. Either you're a troll, or you are too low elo to possibly understand and really need to just drop the convo. You don't see jr high kids playing football with college kids in a professional setting. Why? They're too small, too weak, too slow, and lack the skill.

Oooh, you know a challenger player how impressive. Do you want me to submit a resume? Cuz I can make yours look like a pile of camel dung. Expecting to play with other college students if you're on a college football team and not be asked to win vs a bunch of college students when half your teammates are jr high kids of average ability for jr high is not unreasonable... it's logical.

Arguing that this is illogical is an embarrassment to yourself.

Kids who do shit like a xin in a match I played today deserve a ban... they do stupid shit over and over and KNOW it's bad. But they're just troll or rager. Match with jg xin...

Runs top lvl 3, tries to dive full hp akali with her flash and shroud available. Dies. Comes back top, suicides as lvl 3 xin vs lvl 5 double buff akali. Proceeds to take 40 cs from me when I'm walking back to lane (20 two different times = 40). This leaves me lvl 4 vs lvl 6 akali despite me: having won lvl 1-3, having gotten a kill on enemy jg, and never dying to her or missing xp other than when xin screwed me over by stealing all minion wave and giving akali a freeze on TWO occasions despite my asking him to stop and my TEAMMATES asking him to stop SEVERAL times. Both in chat and via pings. That is a guy who deserves a BAN. He's a complete asshole and a troll. Continued this behavior all game. I could have afk rage quit and half of people in league wouldn't blame me. But, being a good teammate, I instead roamed bot and mid trying to help them as best I could. Ended game at 15 min ish with a 4/2/0 score and highest farm on my team - without screwing over my teammates to get it. This AFTER having several games with poor teammates and flamers on my team... which leaves me tilted going into this game.

Now, I DARE you to tell me that xin didn't know what he was doing. That he wasn't being toxic for flaming me after he suicides twice and puts me 2 levels behind. That he DOESN'T deserve a ban. He singlehandedly lost us that very winnable game all because he was a raging pig-headed troll. Asking for people like this to be removed is NOT toxic, it is NOT an ego trip. It is looking out for the good of everyone who wants to play an honest ranked game.

HAHHAHHAHAHA.

Complains about losing all the time / is WAY better than a top 25 player.

One of these things just doesnt belong here.

Man usually people lie and say "yea im just as good as diamond players" ive never once seen someone go "yea im #1 in america im just in elo hell"

Just letting you know I've reported you for continued harassment. But until that time comes and a moderator doing their job removes your post, I am putting this here to save others from your stupidity that you insist on posting over and over again.

Once again, you put false words in my mouth and make claims that I say things I have not said.

I have made no such claim as to be hashinshin (the na supertop). I am not hashinshin, nor do I think I'm capable of being him. Let's see your resumee... you KNOW a challenger player. Wow, cool, so do I. That has no relevance on your posts. I could talk about... theory crafting a cho'gath build at start of this season which pro's only came up with the runes much later and Korean pro used to smash his lane opponent in a matchup you normally expect the cho to lose.

I could talk about bringing champs to new roles and knowing WHY they would be good in such roles BEFORE challenger players do it and make it meta.

I could talk about correctly predicting the top abusers of our newest keystone are auto attackers like yasuo and jax (and the odd caster-focused fiora) ... not champs like darius or renekton or garen. This before the rune even saw play. And only now are people realizing this. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nZnFzYxsXfI

I could talk about the over a dozen players in plat and diamond who have run into me in their climb from silver and... truly believed I was a plat smurf. Who wouldn't accept my story that I am in fact a gold elo player.

I could discuss how there's much higher elo players than me who make me sick when I watch some of their vids because they have 0 skill with some champs. No auto-animation cancelling. Shitty itemization or runes. How horribly they play out being ganked or doing a tower dive and juggling agro. How unimaginitive their teamfightin or baron play is. How little they utilize their advantage... letting opponents just trade farm with them until their gold lead means nothing and their opponents can actually challenge them again in open combat.

But that and more (I could continue) is NOTHING. Nothing compared to almighty you... who KNOWS a challenger player. Who can compete with THAT? Why I bet... you are even smarter than Faker or Apdo or Khan. You could probably 1v5 win worlds for NA. You probably know exactly how many planes are circling the earth right now. For someone who KNOWS a challenger player, the impossible is so easy. And all knowledge is yours clearly. Forgive your humble serf for ever doubting you are the keeper of all knowledge and ever daring to question you.[sg-miss-fortune]

As for this. I think your literally forgetting where the "i know a challenger" comes from. Here ill post it for you.

Also no people NEVER get better. I know an IRL challenger. And ive watched his games. He STILL gets people going 1/7 in challenger.

If youll take a second to reread that. I was simply stating that ive watched plenty of challenger games and talked to a person with first hand experince and theres still people in the top 1% of the playerbase that goes 0/10.

Then you went absolutely nuts and called the challenger i know trash even though his skill had no relevance to the conversation i was simply using him as a platform to show i know what im talking about.

Your anger has thrown this thread all out of wack.

in other words you want to ban literally the entirety of Bronze and Silver ranked players

woodvsmurph1 votes

Completely false. I've seen some bronze players better than some gold players. I've seen some silver players who deserve gold more than some gold players. As I've explained - if you took the time to read - skill and performance expectations go UP as you CLIMB in RANK. I don't have the same expectation of a silver as I would of a gold. Or the same of a bronze 4 vs a bronze 1. Read about the xin I just played with tonight in my post above... then tell me you honestly would want that guy on your team... ganking YOUR lane.

That is the type of player I get fed up with and want banned. Not some bronzie who is 0/4/0 cuz his lane opponent is simply better than him. If you continue to make further completely unfounded false accusations against me I will be forced to report you to the boards moderators for harassment/spam. Me NOT doing so after your last response is a show of trust in you. It is my hope you do not betray that.

TL;DR: Riot, please ban players for being bad at the game, or even just for having a bad game.

Also, it's kind of funny how you spend the first ~75% of your post trying to explain how players having a bad game is actually intentional feeding, then you spend the last ~25% trying to justify banning players for playing poorly.

And just think about the consequences of this: "Here's a ban for playing poorly, now your skills will atrophy. I'm sure you'll be better at the game when you come back after having not played the game." You'd also have a greatly increased frequency of players leaving when they do poorly in lane, because they'd be scared of getting banned if they continue to play and do poorly.

woodvsmurph1 votes

No. I'm asking for teammates to be of comparable caliber as my opponents - that is all. If they fall far below that caliber and run it down lane suiciding, they need to be insta-demoted or removed. As I clearly state, simply having bad kda or missing a skillshot now and then or taking 1 bad fight isn't intentional feeding. Read before you comment next time.

Why do boards claim that trying to 2v2 a 7/1/2 and 2/0/7 enemy bot duo that you (bot duo) fed is completely understandable and not in any way intentional feeding.

Because it is allowed to make bad decisions. It is allowed to play bad. If this would not be the case and if challengers would look through your gameplay, you would be banned immediately because you make a lot of bad decisions every match. They would call you being a really, really bad player. You wasted perhaps flash where you shouldn´t, you did not go back where you shouldn´t.... and underperforming... wow... Leona 2 times together 1/10/13 .... if that is not feeding for a ranked?

You are silver2. You would be banned for a bunch of bad decisions after the first match. For bad decisions you would not know that you did them but any really good player see them as easy as you see that someone would have to buy a defensive Item if he is behind. You have no right to judge this way about others and you are not in the position.

You are young. Go out with open eyes and get in touch with different "types" of people. Rich and poor, very intelligent or even normal people, very old and very young people..... Some of them believe in... ^^ "alternative facts"... wich the rest of the world is laughing about. And they will perhaps go in 2/0/4 vs with 0/3/1 stats and think they will win the trade. They may be not very intelligent but they are not "intentionally not very intelligent".

And so I would say for you as a silver 2 player it seems not very intelligent to me to force a way of punishment witch would sooner or later lead to a ban for yourself. But I would not say intentionally not intelligent. You did not realize that your idea would disclose yourself from further gameplay because you make a lot of such bad decisions - if not you wold be at least platin and you would not have games with 10 deaths.

You know the Dunning-Kruger-efffect? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dunning%E2%80%93Kruger_effect _

In the field of psychology, the Dunning–Kruger effect is a cognitive bias wherein people of low ability suffer from illusory superiority, mistakenly assessing their cognitive ability as greater than it is. The cognitive bias of illusory superiority derives from the metacognitive inability of low-ability persons to recognize their own ineptitude; without the self-awareness of metacognition, low-ability people cannot objectively evaluate their actual competence or incompetence.[1]

Conversely, highly competent individuals may erroneously assume that tasks easy for them to perform are also easy for other people to perform, or that other people will have a similar understanding of subjects that they themselves are well-versed in.[2]......_

Personally I would say this is a form of egocentrism. We have perhaps (at least.... could find more here) 2 cases of Dunning-Kruger-egocentrism here. One is the player wich is 0/4/3 atttacking repeatingly a 4/0/7 vs because in his opinion this is a valid. The other is one wich_ erroneously assume that it must be easy to see for everyone_ that this is wrong because it´s his superior opinion as a superduperchallangersilver2player.

And therefore. Just: no.

I'm counterpicked, I'm camped by jg, and I'm winning lane or at least going even in... basically every match toplane. Logically, if a toplaner is absorbing all the enemy jungler's attention and NOT feeding his ass off, he's putting in solid work. Logically, your laners should then be able to better punish enemy mistakes because they have 0 need to fear it's a bait to set up the enemy jungler. Logically, your jungler should either be: 1. counter-ganking and snowballing your lane or 2. ganking another lane or two and getting team ahead. It doesn't take a pro to realize this. I'm not asking for pro level play from my teammates. I expect that if they're in silver (gold 5 or better last 2 seasons; get shitty teammates that hold me back in early season climb every year), they can perform AT a silver level. I've played in bronze. I've played in silver and in gold... and vs plat players. I KNOW what each is capable of. I can look to my opponents too. If I'm capable of understanding some simple logic and all my opponents are - as demonstrated by their gameplay be the WINNING or LOSING - then logically... my teammates should be capable of that too.

Therefore, you are 100% wrong. There is nothing to excuse repeatedly doing the same bad thing over and over again. It doesn't matter if you are tilted or not. I can be stuck 1v2, see 10x when if I had a fair laning phase I'd have gotten a kill, but be unable to punish other's mistakes. I can be ganked additionally by the fed enemy mid for the 3rd time in 10 minutes and all my teammates losing - for the FOURTH game in a row... and I am still making better decisions and giving my team a CHANCE to win the game. I don't ask perfection, and I forgive an honest mistake, but repeating the same thing when you already KNOW the result is stupidity.

"Hey, I touched the stove again when it was on high... it burned my hand AGAIN. Who would have guessed?" lol. See how utterly stupid that sounds? Sure, maybe if you're super young and... wouldn't be able to talk like that, that might be your experience and be excused. But then you wouldn't be my PEER would you. So... by the same token, someone that dead set on intentionally feeding - I'm talking bronze 5 would know they couldn't win that fight - should not BE at my rank.

There's no high and mighty about it. Only pure honest logic and truth. Intentional feeding IS listed as a reportable offense and it NEEDS to be punished as such.

For instance, the other day, my teammates and I got a bit full of ourselves and ended up basically overextending and two by two or 1 by 1 taking a fight and dying for it vs 2-3 enemies. We gave them a delayed ace. That was stupid of us, but it's not ban worthy because... we took a fight we honestly thought we could win based on how we'd done up to that point and because we STOPPED doing it after the first time we each messed up. We didn't REPEAT do that same stupid play over and over and over AGAIN. Had we done so, I would have said we all (myself included) deserved a report for intentional feeding.

And as I've argued MANY times... kda alone does not indicate good or bad play or if someone is intentional feeding. If a team takes a bad fight to let someone backdoor the enemy nexus by stopping recalls, sure they might get aced save the person backdooring, but it was a smart death. If a support dies to save his 4 teammates from getting aced and the enemy achieving a game-ending push, that's a good death. If the squishy jungler KNOWINGLY dives in 1v5 vs an enemy team he can't 1-shot anyone and they all have a ton of cc and burst... that's a bad death. If a toplaner teleports behind the enemy team to engage a 4v3 fight where his teammates are healthy enough and have abilities up and mana to take that fight and his teammates don't back him up after he gave them more than enough time to prepare for it and they never pinged him NOT to do it... that's an unfortunate death... NOT the toplaner's fault but rather the team's fault. 2 reasons: 1. they should have pinged him back if they were unwilling to take the fight 2. they failed to back up their teammate who went out of his way to help THEM

There's differences that kda cannot tell. If you don't know the info they were working with (vision, etc.), you cannot tell. And again, the most important thing here is REPETITION. Was the bad decision repeated?

Just gonna point out how duplicitous the boards are and how illogical. Post is currently +13 votes while claiming largely the same thing I argue for. This post has less detailed argument than mine. Mine is no more inflammatory or hate filled or anything bad. Funny how illogical people are. +13 vs -4. Honest discussion and logical comments vs hate filled replies that make false claims about what the original author says. Where are the boards moderators to police hate filled spam harass? Where are the honest boards members that actually TRY to be logical and fair even if they don't see eye to eye?

  1. You care way too much what people are doing in a video game. People who you will probably never see again.
  2. How do you know they weren't punished? You don't get notified for every player who you've reported that gets banned. Only sometimes, if you're report is the final report to trigger a punishment, do you get notified.
  3. As with so many things in life, sometimes you just gotta accept the bad shit that you can't control (e.g. bad teammates), and do the best you can with it. Do that, focus on your own skills and contributions, and you'll leave the feeders in Silver while you climb to Plat.

4. Don't waste time typing useless shit like "don't feed"

Just tryna help. Take the advice or don't, idgaf. Like I said, I'll probably never see you again, and I can't control your actions beyond these few words, so whatever.

I will come to this later. however to start things up:

1 i do not believe the people who you claim are intentionally feeding are intentionally feeding. 2 I believe the problem is with your inability to distinguish bad play from intentional feeding. 3 in the high probability your examples and logic will be discovered, after examination, to be bullshit 4 the requests and demands to work with team will probably, after examination, will be discovered to be some useless form of ineffective and generally garbage class communication i.e. "stop feed" in it's many forms. 5 the fictitious story is not analogous to the game because the roles you have given to your friend and your yourself and to riot and to the other the customers of the store are not similar to the roles either of these actors assume in game, and neither are the consequences of the actions of these actors.
