Every time I've been vs an ashe she either gets crapped on, but oneshots people late with no chance of survival, and even if you have a chance of killing her she just ults and 3 shots you. Or if she gets ahead then she pokes you with 600 range(why the hell does she have 600 range when most have 550?) and once she lands an AA you die (unless you are ezreal or trist,) especially if she has IE and you walk into farm and get a third of your health taken away because of the free crit. so yes, with initiate longer than zac, and damage that beats everyone but hypercarries (even so she still rivals them) She doesnt pay nearly as hard for how much ultility she truly has. Oh and nobody seems to mention the Free gold passive also. People seem to complain about how, "oh she only has 1 ability that does AD damage" Yes, but that has a 1 to 1 ratio and a short cast time giving her higher DPS, Overall she is a strong champion who loves the itemization changes.

Are you kidding? She has a global aoe stun, an aoe slow, a massive vision reveal, and an eternal redbuff. How can that possibly be not much utility? I think you mean not much CC. Even so Ashe has a ton of CC. Braum, a support, has a stun + a knockup + a slow . Ashe has 3 slows, and a stun. She is secondarily a support.

Not much utility, gimme a break.

oh i am not kidding. utility is just another word for usefulness.

and as we all know ashe is never very useful.

Utility is another word for usefulness, but not in the sense of damage, in the sense of affects she has on other champions in the game. She most definitely has high impact abilities, but your implying she isn't a good pick, which is what the author is also saying. The author is saying she is too much utility and not enough damage.

it is true ashe has so many slows and a global stun but that does not mean she has utility.

those are rather useless unless ashe gets to either iniate or kite. that is ashe's only utility. iniation and kiting.

Im not sure if u knew this, but she also has a huge vision revealer. And You pretty much said "Ashe only has utility when people play her well".

you mean a scrying orb? that is by no mean a huge utility. i am saying ashe can only engage and kite. she cant disengage, cc, ms steroid or, burst or self peel. lucian can self peel and burst. so lucian and ashe have the same utility. however, the meta favors lucian so he is strong. that does not mean he has any less utility than ashe.

Burst, ms sterioids and damage has nothing to do with utility. Comparing Ashe to lucian isn't fair, if you're going to compare her to someone, compare her to Varus or Kalista. Lucian and Ashe definitely do not have the same utility. Ashe and lucian have completely different playstyles. Also Ashe definitely has disengage and self peel, im not sure what her q is for except self peel. She also has a much longer range than lucian.

Today I learned a 35% slow and a 70% slow have the exact same impact.

Gangplank has an aoe global slow that can deal 13860 +1680% ap magic damage. I can make anything seem OP if I leave out important details like you do.

That doesnt make it wrong.....your rebuttal has nothing to do with the issue at hand. My argument was that Ashe has lots of utility, ur response only confirmed that she does in fact HAVE utility. details are irrelevant.

No, it points out that you're being extremely misleading. 2 different slows are not equal. The 7% slow on gangplanks Q is not tons of utility while the 70% slow on braum's Q is.

So are you saying that Ashe doesn't have utility? In which case she definitely needs a buff. Or are you saying she does, but its not noticeable. Cuz I thought we were talking about Ashe here. I made a comparison to Braum, I never said she had more CC than him, I was making a relation to the fact that she rivals supports in terms of the slows and stuns she has, not that she is stronger than a support.

Also, all of those champions are due for a rework according to Riot, why hasn't Ashe been getting that kind of attention? Also, WW hardly pays for his ult, he is very strong right now, and so is malz.
