Dead man's is making tank builds stale and buy all means out classes Omen.

Why is it bad? It is the only real tank item that offers any kind of movement speed that is not a short lived active (righteous Glory). It is almost always the first armor item to be bought by basically anyone since it allows to be somewhat sticky with an on hit 200 damage slow by Crushing Blow, up to 60 movement speed when chasing or running away and the 500 health with 50 armor is nothing to laugh at for an item that gives a good amount of utility and speed on top of those base stats.

If the movement speed was half of what it currently is maxing at 30 and the armor was buffed a little to say 60 it would by all means feel like more of a situational item instead of the always go to armor item.

What other items could use some movement speed and be good? Just some concepts but...

Iceborn Gauntlet: 5% Movement speed but 10% less CDR would not kill the item in the slightest. If anything it would be viewed as a good improvement given that there are many other CDR items open for tanky builds. Sheen could easily have 5% movement speed instead of 10% CDR given that lich bane and Trinity both have movement speed already. And if it kills Blue Ezreal which I don't think would happen oh well it is suppose to be a tank item not a endlessly kite marksmen item that makes ashe look meh.

Ohmwreker. By all means it has some form of movement speed already so making the point runner passive be only 15% max but the item always has at least 5% would be a within reason change to this item. Not saying this is all the item needs but this would likely be another step in the right direction.

Warmogs Armor: This is kinda a weird one but it is not bought often since just pure health is not really in demand. So what if it gave 1% movement speed and 5% slow reduction for every 15% health missing?

Just some idea's but dead man's seems to be too good of an item and pushing out other options in nearly every situation on all tanky champs.

DP is good because other tank items are actually bad. 10% crit reduction is pretty bad, and the AoE slow is not enough to stick to a adc if you can't never reach it. Sunfire is decent, but if you can't stick to your target, it is pointless. Iceborn doesn't give health, frozen heart feels horrible nowadays,. The problem is that other tank items are bad

It seems like there's not even a reason to go full tank when "tanky" items (steraks, etc.) are so much better, even on primary tanks.

Giving out additional move speed is something I'm getting really worried about recently. It's common to get above 400+ ms on the average champion. I'd rather deadmans get nerfed down then other things get buffed up. Giving tanks mobility is risky, and I'm worried for the day when people realize that mages use Deadman's incredibly well, since they will never AA mid-late game.

Notice that I am suggesting to give movement speed to items that are not must buy currently for a lot of champs. Warmogs is lacking something to be a common pick and Ohmwreker is basically never bought.

These are simply targeted to make tanks have to consider other options based on what they want instead of getting all the movement speed they would ever need from just Deadman's and boots.

Also if a champ has a base movement speed of 350 they only get about 17 from a 5% boost. This will in turn mean that with 2 of the examples above in addition to dead man's they could have more then dead mans currently has but it is not something they get from one single item and therefor have to invest more in order to get more movement speed overall. It is intended to be a with reason boost to some items that could likely be able to have movement speed in some way but not be over the top in having some kind of movement speed.

Mages will never use DP LOL. It's extremely bad. Losing a item slot for bonus ms. Better buy luden's

I get deadman's plate on velkoz many games where i'm against a talon or a rengar that has so far played well in the game, because I know no matter how far back i play they will find their way to me and I want to be able to survive their burst and then try to kite away from them

Good to know. I guess I'm just lucky, climbing through plat with the item.

Could probably give Omens active more crit damage reduction based on how many people are in range when omen's slow is actived.

I think it'll make the item have more impact because currently it feels irrelevant.

remember when it gave 60 armor and 600 hp. those were the days

There needs to be less movement speed in the game, not more...

The idea of giving Ohmwrecker a reason to buy is genius. But I have to disagree with Sunfire Cape being weak. I still prefer Sunfire to Deadman's on a lot of my tanks and bruisers. Deadman's is for catching people, but Sunfire is for teamfights. And it's usually one huge teamfight that generally determines who wins a game.

However, on the subject of Randuin's and Frozen Heart, the reason these suck so much now is cause Riot randomly decided that they needed to nerf their attack speed reduction back in the past. Riot always has their dicks so hard for damage so they can see those big lcs plays that they made a joke out of warden's mail and its build paths.
