Because I kept on getting crapped on by Morde Tops as . The range of Morde's E is longer than my Q.

Morde counters these kinds of bullies, just like Pantheon because he can simply "block" your Q with his E

Counters are: DrMundo Illaoi Jax Olaf Trundle MonkeyKing All can fair against Morde due to being able to all in him, out sustain him or simply have ways to simply run him over

Lissandra cuz she can wave clear .. aoe damage... ranged harass and her ult just flat out stops any engage

Chogath due to his sustain... pushes and clears well has a silence , a knock up and dues true damage which hurts Mordekaiser Teemo due to harass and dot cuz having hp cost on abilities

TahmKench % hp damage, tankyness can save allies from dying to Mordekaiser ult Urgot ranged, armor reduction and slow.. shield... displacement ult Heimerdinger pushes so hard mord dont know what to do and mord has no gap closers

Uh nope, it doesn't. Everything can proc while inside tahm's belly : ignite, zed's death mark, morde's ult etc. it's untargetability not invulnerability.

but if your ally is marked with his ult and hasnt died yet you can swallow them and keep them from taking more damage from Mordekaiser other abilities that would actually kill them its rear that his ult is what actually kills the target

well typically top lane is melee...

mord is melee with some aoe damage... so a top laner who is range is typically squishy and dont have great wave clear and typically dont sustain well...

im sure you can use Rumble Teemo Heimerdinger Kayle

Illaoi works good imo, Morde can still counter her if she misses tentacle hit and is fast to retreat from your ulti engage but being on par of skill Illaoi wins hard.

Tryndamere is a strong pick against morde post 6

since morde has limited mobility, he will usually have to stand and bang until someone dies while tryndamere can just roflspin away.

Yeah, I've learned sustain champs are terrible for mordekaiser, otherwise, I'll 1v3 pulling off my W heal at the right time <3 not sure how malicous feels about going against an ashe as mordekaiser, it's pretty annoying if you ask me, and she wil have sustain.

Mordekaiser gets countered by Jax, Yi if you dodge E and medi 3rd Q, and burst.

In theory Morde should always lose to high sustained damage, hence this is my personal list with some other good options.

**Darius ** -His bleed damage can prove to much for Morde to absorb. The moment you fully stack him and you won't take a lot of minion damage, then you can proceed to go for the kill. -Morde need just to make one single mistake for you to abuse him. -The moment he pulls him, Morde has to flash or die. I play Darius with Ghost and MS Quints... Morde will simply die if that happens.

Ryze -Once you have mana to spam, he won't be able to get within range without getting chunked by his kit. -Rune Prison will fuck Morde if he gets ganked. Morde always pushes so the chances of this happening are almost guaranteed.

Swain -The reworked Swain is now more stronger than before without mentioning he is not as mana hungry as before. Meaning that the pressure will be on Morde. Swain have everything in his kit to make Morde's life miserable. Range, Sustain, High sustained damage, and CC to lock him down during a gank.

Nasus -Not really a counter BUT a good and experience Nasus player will simply survive the lane and proceed to make Morde's life a misery. His kit counters Morde's. -Since Morde will always be pushing, that's enough for Nasus to Wither him and let the jungle eat (Considering if it's an aggresive one that is) -Late Game, Nasus shits on Morde. -Wither ruins Morde's Q damage potential. The moment you cast Q he just have to cast W on you and proceed to walk away. Morde will never be able to land his third Q on a good and intelligent Nasus without sneaky mechanics, EVER.

Kennen -He is ranged and doesn't have to go within Morde's range to farm. -He can easily lock and even kill Morde should he plays incorrectly, more during a gank. -He can blow Morde with his ult easily if Morde misplays.

Fiora -As the match prolongs, her damage will simply be too much for Morde to handle.

In theory Morde should lose to high sustained damage, more ranged than him and to ganks due to him always pushing with no escapes and/or mobility/CC.

There's a lot of champion that can give Morde a hard time but it all depends on the player's capability to adapt. I personally don't have issues playing against him since I used to be a Morde main years ago and still know him pretty well. I personally have the most success with Nasus and Darius vs Morde.
