Why do people delude themselves?

I really have to ask what goes through a persons head when they play a or for example. Both of these champions are laughably easy to play for different reasons. First up, Rengar does not have a resource and a free enhancement once his bar is full with no real drawbacks, plus it only really requires you to get in a bush and wait.

While vayne on the other side... I just have to ask if people are insane. I've played Vayne myself... How on Earth is she HARD!? She essentially has one of the longest knockbacks I've seen in the entire game, her true damage W provides her with easy peel against tanks, she doesn't even really need to build attack damage. Her ultimate is very cheap and easy to use as well, providing safety and dominance in trades. How can she be difficult at all... if she was difficult to play, she wouldn't be used in the LCS and used in solo Q as she is.

I just do not see how people say she is hard!? She essentially is about right-click, dodging a few skillshots with an easily spammable Q roll with a free empowered attack after it and then using the ultimate to give her trade supremacy. I'm sorry but positioning is not all that much skill... EVERY champion needs good position.

I will have more respect for people who play harder, more mechanical and different champs like etc. But essentially, with only four buttons to worry about, plus 2 summoner spells... how can ANYTHING in this game be considered "hard".

Maybe they just enjoy playing that Champion? Rengar in particular has a unique aesthetic/feel to him - stealthy hunter stalking through the jungle, predator, etc. I mean if your argument is

Then why bash on anyone? If the game is "easy" then why dump on people who choose to play Easy Champion A over Easy Champion B?

She's Lee Sin hard: Hard to play, VERY rewarding when played right.

Her E alone takes skill to know when to use it, when not to, or if it will pin them against a wall or let them free escape.

Vayne and Rengar aren't hard, no, and Vayne is one of the easiest ADCs in the game (also why she's the strongest). Seems like, the easier a champion is, the more damage they do. Whether that's because of poor balancing or just the fact that it's very easy to get full damage from their kit, I don't know.

But, no, the game as a whole is very easy to play. Honestly, I don't think any "hard" games exist anymore, which kind of makes me sad; I enjoy a challenging game that makes me feel like I really accomplished something at the end, rather than just have a 1st place ribbon handed to me off a silver platter, but that's exactly what League does. What makes League challenging isn't what you actually do (the player input for League is VERY simplistic), it's coordinating with your team and reacting appropriately to what the enemy team does. In a premade group with voice comms and all that, coordination isn't hard at all, but in solo queue, it's a totally different story.

Basically though, no, Vayne and Rengar are not hard in the slightest, but neither is the game in general.

Edit: And, after looking through the comments, Riven isn't hard either, despite what people claim. :P

Vayne and Rengar aren't that difficult unless your me and suck at most AD champs in the game. Except for Jinx shes braindead easy >_> and she's freelo right now.
