Pro players started taking warlords over fervor suddenly, as I remember fervor didnt get any nerfs and nothing changed in the meta, what happened basically?
when I play with warlords I feel like im not dealing any dmg, but when I go with fervor %50-60 of the time I say "Damn I wish I had warlords bloodlust I could win that all in easily". So.... But both dont satisfy me.
I never played with Grasp after the nerf.
So.....
What are your thoughts?
There are pros that play Tryndamere?
Lol JK, but most on probuilds seem to be going fervor. I know Voyboy, who plays Trynd more than most pros or ex-pros, favors it.
Anyway, the distinction between the two keystones is that fervor is better for trades and all-ins early on, and warlord's is better for duels late game when you have more AD. Tryndamere gets a lot of AD from his Q's passive so it's even better for him.
That said, in most cases you should still go fervor. Tryndamere is a champion that is at his strongest when he can aggressively all-in his opponents in the laning phase to snowball hard, because contrary to popular belief he is not a late game champion. Sure, his damage is crazy late game, on par with hypercarry champions, and he's one of the best duelists in the game at this point. But a champion who simply can't team fight doesn't have a good late game, and Tryndamere's team fighting is among the worst in the game. You want to get ahead early. For this reason I also think ignite is best on him. Sure, you won't be able to TP in to help your team... but would you have really helped them if you tp'd in as Tryndamere in the first place?
IMO Warlord's should only be taken if you're against someone you just can't really cheese or kill early, like Teemo, Malphite (LEAST FUN TRYND MATCH UP HOLY SHIT) or probably Pantheon (you actually do outscale Pantheon late game, his late is gutter trash lol).
