Ryze (again)

Right now with the current change to his ultimate, Zhonya's Cancels it, he basically has no ultimate in lower elo. When I play Ryze I feel like there is little to no point in me getting my ultimate at all, because if I engage a fight with it then they will just predict that and kill us when we arive. I can't disengage from a fight because I have no method to prevent myself from being crowd controlled. I currently find the only good use of his ultimate is to move minions from one inhib tower to another, and that feels absolutely terrible. I am not saying he needs to have a huge buff, I just want Ryze to have four abilities, not the three that he has now, because moving minions does not count as an ultimate to me.
