What is the difference between nerfing a champion to a balance state or a weak state?

If you nerf a champion into a Balance State:

  • The champion is still playable.
  • The champion hard counters becomes a skill match up.
  • The champion has clear weakness.
  • The champion has counterplay added.
  • The champion Damage is unchanged but has been tweak or shifted around into other skills.
  • The champion is smooth and feels that is actually balanced and requires some skills.

If you nerf a champion into a Weak State:

  • The champion is unplayable.
  • The champion hard counter is even harder.
  • The champion weakness isn't clear.
  • The champion still has no counterplay.
  • The champion Damage has been drastically nerfed and part of the kit becomes Useless.
  • The champion still has issue that has not been touched and thus escalate an unbalance state.

Exemple: Leblanc

Her Q, tweaked to deal more damage to minions after her W got her damage Cut by 50% Explaination: Her W is her only source of escape, aswell as positioning. The problem we find here, is that Leblanc W is on a very long cooldown early game. If Riot want people to max Q, why would leave her W on such a long cooldown early? Why was this not addressed? Maxing Q only increase the damage, there is no cooldown reduction per Level unlike her W. This is another flaw sighted in her NERF that would put her in a Balance state.

Her E Problem has never been touched, Complains and complains by people who keeps saying in the forum gameplay board that her E range is too long. The issue was not resolved and thus she still has something inbalance after her Nerf. Now this escalate to another issue, if people still complain about her E being too long or being unflashable, Riot will have to address it again. People were fine with her damage, all riot needed was to Nerf the E root range.

In conclusion, I'm very dissapointed in riot, there are specific things that you can fix and there would be no issues after, it has never been address, and I'm talking about nerfs and reworks. Lethality Buff was a big issue, it created alot of Nerfs to champions who was already strong but keep getting stronger because of a global buff. I'm speechless, even I learn from my mistakes why don't riot learn?

Riot has favorites that always get impactless "nerfs" or unnecessary compensation buffs like Zed or Jhin and theyre still OP after

Meanwhile they simply destroy champs like Kindred Kalista Sejuani Mordekaiser Malzahar and now Aatrox for no reason

Aatrox was already destroyed there trying to fix them. Mordekaiser was balanced for a meta that didnt last long. Ans kalista because of her kit is always gonna be broke or break the game.
