Let's talk about ARAM
I've played a lot of ARAM games (more than 2k) since I've started playing League. I really like this mode, not only because it's fast paced, but also because it has a cool game design: your team is given a bunch of random champions that need to find a way to work together in order to win the game.
Well, at least it was like this. Recently I've been noticing the majority of games is won or lost since champion select. The luckiest team, which is the one that gets the best team composition, always win (unless they have an afk). There is absolutely no way to play around your weaknesses anymore: if you're "counterpicked", you're basically screwed. What are the consequences? Queue times become longer (many players dodge ARAM games when they have a bad comp, so you have to waste more time waiting to find another player), losses feel more frustrating and victories feel less rewarding. Basically, none's happy (unless you're the guy that doesn't care about anything and plays ARAM only because he's bored or he has only 30 minutes of spare time).
So, what do you think about it? Am I imagining things or do you also feel like there's a problem?
