When I pick jungle/support I want to play at least 50/50 jungle and support.

I don't want to become "support only". I would've mained disco nunu if that was the case.

Yep. Just go Jungle/Mid.

I wanted to be jungle/sup but I was getting support 9 times out of 10 even though it was my secondary. The system is completely broken.

its not broken , no one wants to supp is all i mean grant i find my self winning most of my games when i supp bu tthat crap gets mega boring

its not broken

If my secondary is getting picked 90% of the time and my primary 10%, that is a broken system.

I know this should go without saying but apparently we need to clarify; Secondary category should NEVER overtake primary category. Out of 10 games on average, you should only get your secondary 3 or 4 times tops... not NINE or TEN.

Okay...why?

I know this should go without saying but apparently we need to clarify; Secondary category should NEVER overtake primary category. Out of 10 games on average, you should only get your secondary 3 or 4 times tops... not NINE or TEN.

Okay...again...why? Where does it state anywhere that the primary role is meant to be the role you get most often? To my knowledge, it only states "of these two roles, I'll get one if the other is taken."

Therefore, if you have 5 players, and 3 want to jungle, then someone is going to get it while the other two will receive a role that needs to be filled. Considering jungling is a more popular role, it is no surprise that the secondary role will be given more often than the primary. Think about it, if everyone got their primary role 80% of the time, then who the heck is in support or top? One cannot say the system is broken because they did not receive what they desired.

No, you didnt, you made an assertion. Primary role should give you the role you want 80% of the time. Where do you draw this conclusion from other than a pure assumption?

Yes I did, read the first response.

sigh

I grow tired of it so I'll try to put it as simple as possible. A statement of why you think it is broke is not a statement of why the system is broken. What information do you possess stating the system must work in a fashion as to give an individual their primary role more than the secondary role?

You explain little beyond your assertion.

If you can refute my argument, then we'll see.

You have not provided any argument. You've provided no information on the system working the way you THINK it does. It's literally an opinion, one cannot refute an opinion.

It's literally an opinion, one cannot refute an opinion.

Actually no , it was not "literally an opinion", it was statement of fact followed by a condemnation of said fact. The conclusion of it was that the system is broken.

If you can defend the broken system, then do so by refuting my argument, otherwise you are wasting my time with your circular, nonsensical rhetoric.

It isn't a fact, it was anecdotal in its statement.

I don't get my role 80% of the time. Therefore, the system is broken.

This does not state anything about how the system should work, does not support your theory in anyway.

If you can defend the broken system, then do so by refuting my argument,

You provided no argument, and provided nothing to illustrate the system is broken.

otherwise you are wasting my time with your circular, nonsensical rhetoric.

I don't get my role 80% of the time. Therefore, the system is broken.

That's not what I said, but I will not stand in the way of your delusions.

This does not state anything about how the system should work

First of all, pointing out a severe flaw in the system has absolutely nothing to do with developing a new system or "how the system should work" beyond fixing the identified flaw.

Second, I DID say how the system should work; I should never get my secondary role 9 times out of 10 with the 1 out of 10 being my primary role, that is a broken system.

The secondary role should be SECONDARY to the primary role (Obviously). So good job failing to understand my argument and presenting an incredibly flimsy strawman argument afterwards.

Your failure was spectacular.

That's not what I said, but I will not stand in the way of your delusions.

You're right, it also included tears but I cannot mimic your sorrow in a fashion that is satisfactory.

First of all, pointing out a severe flaw in the system has absolutely nothing to do with developing a new system or "how the system should work" beyond fixing the identified flaw.

One cannot make a claim of the existence of a flaw, unless one understands how the system works. It is the same as stating the SAT is flawed, because your math score was low, and therefore it needs to be fixed. Why? Probably because it is meant to work in such a fashion in the first place.

Second, I DID say how the system should work; I should never get my secondary role 9 times out of 10 with the 1 out of 10 being my primary role, that is a broken system.

Not really, a broken system would be a system that doesn't work. Clearly, this one is working, it just doesn't work the way you desired.

So instead of saying the system is broken, you should instead state , the system needs to be changed. English, it isn't very hard.

The secondary role should be SECONDARY to the primary role (Obviously). So good job failing to understand my argument and presenting an incredibly flimsy strawman argument afterwards.

I am impressed you are capable of recalling such a term as strawman, when you are clearly incapable of understanding the very definition of the words primary and secondary within the proper context.

The context, is the following.

If option A is not available, go to option B. Option A, jungle, is much more popular than Option B. So, Option A isn't going to be available as often as Option B, which is support, which is less popular, which is going to be available more often.

System isn't broken, you're just an idiot.

My failure was spectacular.

I fixed that for you. You're the kid who probably tries to put the square block in the triangle shaped hole, and threw a fit about it.

The system works as intended, you're just a few standard deviations below the average IQ. Don't get so angry bro. Now I am going to pull a page from your book and let you have the last word kid.

One cannot make a claim of the existence of a flaw, unless one understands how the system works.

That's still very different from what a I said, but good strawman argument.

Not really, a broken system would be a system that doesn't work.

And this one doesn't work. I already explained multiple times.

It's not complicated, read my comments again.

no, primary means just that: primary. definition: of greater importance; of greater preference. I didn't know that primary meant 10% of the time. Sentence example: If you said that you were the primary contributor to a football team's win while you were just the towel boy, you'd get laughed at.

Geeze, if you don't have a ranked badge at least try to have some understanding of basic words.

No..no it doesnt. Read a book sometime. The statement of being the primary contributor means you were the most important contributer, not the preferred. Your own example illustrates your lack of understanding as it clearly denotes importance, not preference, and it is obvious leagues system does not look at it un such a fashion.

Primary has nothing to do with preference at all. It is meant to represent the first, the most important, preceding others or to come before.

It is the FIRST role you have picked. Similar to having all primary fire arm such as all glock, and having a secondary firearm which is another glock.

Geeze, if you don't have a ranked badge at least try to have some understanding of basic words.

You should have such an understanding so you don't make an idiot of yourself and referencing game trophies as a measure of intelligence. What are you? 15?

Both.you and Dominick clearly misunderstand the term and intent of the roles.

One is your first role. If it's not available, go to second role.

That's what you think but it may not be what other's think.

Everybody is still ironclad confident in the mindset that "support sucks" or "its a shit role", which is why 80% will pick Jungle when you say "jungle/support"

yet most people don't realize support plays a key part in every game.

If you don't like playing support all the time just because, well you could probably learn Toplane or ADC and use those as ur secondary picks.

If this is because of the new champ select then yes, champ select is fucking dumb right now. I'll pick top/mid as my roles and some kid who picked fill will get my primary top pick, it's a garbage system atm.

BluePolarizer1 votes

yes its the new champ select. I don't have a problem with it in blind pick because I don't play normals.

I wanna be support/support but the system won't let me.

I'll be trying support/fill since some people say that works.

It is the same system from teambuilder, but forcing you to have 2 roles allows for shorter queues due to 2 roles fill 5 positions fadter. And seeing as teambuilder had support as a constant instant queue due to the lack of them. You are support because there are few people who want to support now a days.
