Am I the only one that thought Assassins needed a nerf more than adcs?

Assassins got to the point where someone Like Kayn could not only kill the adc, but do enough damage to kill 3 others along with him, be they tank, adc, support, jg, top. I understood that adc's were crazy, but to me that was absolutely nothing compared to a kayn or a rengar totally destroying everyone in a radius and possibly living to do it a delayed time later "thst delayed damage thing." I was fine with the adc meta besides champs like twitch jhin cait and trist. maybe draven. But they could be delt with by assassins. but not only could assasins kill them, they wrecked too much havoc on everyone else. that was batshit crazy. still is with zed and these runes/stacking of cleaver.

Most assassins were shit because of the shield/heal meta.

There are the shiny new ones like Kayn who can do whatever they wants because he generates shekels for Riot, but a lot (especially stealth) were put in the shithouse and kept there since the update.

It's apparently a problem when Shaco or Rengar jump out and burst, but perfectly fine for Vayne/Twitch to do it.

Let me provide some insight as to why Assassins are often overnerfed.

Meddler is a support main. When his ADC dies because he failed to peel or ward, that's not because he is bad, it's because Assassins are OP.

Yes. Assassins, relative to ADCs, are trash. They were trash. There were one or two assassins that were viable while all you needed to make an ADC work is a functioning brainstem.

I agree with kayn as after his ult he heals too much as well as being tanky (with red kayn). but dont go wanting to nerf my Nocturne

I don't think it's really that some assassin's are too strong but the items that give them a massive powerspike early. While there are some assassins that deal damage without too many items... Katarina Talon Kayn which are in need of some nerf but i'm sure all the assassin mains will disagree for their own reasons.

A powerspike that makes him the most fed on his team 19/2/6 and at that point you won't kill him because of how safe he is, with great escape.

Here is the thing...

between all the shields and heals, the only way an all in assassin like Rengar can kill an ADC backed by a good support is to be really really fed and ahead of the said ADC.
And any assassin when fed that much will usually wreck havoc upon enemy team.

Here is the thing...

between all the shields and heals, the only way an all in assassin like Rengar can kill an ADC backed by a good support is to be really really fed and ahead of the said ADC.
And any assassin when fed that much will usually wreck havoc upon enemy team.

BUT you have virtually no counter play to a jump out of stealth crit burst damage BUT a heal and a shield.

there never was adc meta, adc's are strong only because of crit chance and lifesteal, whereas assassins are just overtuned building regular items. most assassins don't sustain themselves with lifesteal, they only have 1 pen item which is normal..... when assassins used LW riot fixed it. i do have to say though duskblade should be nerfed by removing the bonus damage, but the problem is definitely kit and stat wise not itemization.

actually only AD assassin are OP (except Katarina ) because of the armor runes removal (yes,they lost lethality as well,but it were supposed to scale at lvl 18 so now they have the same penetration but earliyer),lethality item buff and this > item 3147 < as first item that gives an insane powerspike,it give nice stats and an insane base damage (about 65+15 per lvl) which can be procced 2 times when you come from the jungle and then you use some ability like zed or talon ult ---> 460 damage from 1 damn item at lvl 12,640 at lvl 18,this is so stupid and brainless (ah,and don't forget the 99% slow on melee) just give it a CD,cut its base damage and add some AD scaling,so you need to stack some AD before you can OS someone hitting only AA > R > AA

People have this feeling because ADCs have a sup to help his ass. This means when people talk about ADC they basically talk about 2 champions. This season sup are finally more than walking wards and initiators, they have a big impact in TF. So obviously bot lane duo will seem stronger than assasins. But they are not individually.

Zed+Janna insane for example Rengar+Rakan, same

Sure some op ADCs atm with twitch and kog out there, but that's another discussion

The difference is the busted ADCs generally need to hit 3 autos before their burst stats. I can jump on an ADC who's auto'd three times with Leona, and they won't be bursting anyone. Assassins you need to predict and CC or they'll have immediate access to their damage. I can't say one's more broken than the other right now, but I'd suggest assassins have more squishies to prey on right now, and adcs have more assassins to worry about > so assassins will generally be more fun, and more played.
