Reworks and Evelynn's future

Since we know an evelynn rework is now a when and not and if, I think it's a good time to ask the big question about her: is she going to lose her stealth? While I personally think her ability to bypass wards is pretty cool and defines her playstyle, I think riot punishes it pretty heavily despite the fact pink wards are cheaper and last until killed. That leads me to another point, her mana regen. I like the passive regen but if her stealth is going, I have no idea what riot is going to do with the mana regen. It'd be easy to switch it over to out of combat instead of stealth, but with riot's reworks, it seems like the simplest options tend to be avoided because #LCSbigplays, even for passive skills.

Then there's another issue: if riot decides to axe her stealth, will she really belong in the jungle anymore? I mean her gank potential is completely tied to the fact people won't see her coming and if they play carelessly, will leave themselves exposed. If the stealth goes, her ganks go from surprise BDSM butt sex to I see you coming from a mile away like all the other junglers. Now you could move her stealth to her W and make it active like the other stealth champs, however that would mean she'll lose her tool for chasing and escaping as she blew it on the way in to the target and may not have it available when she needs to follow up or get out of dodge. I'm also not sure active stealth really fits her if the passive stealth goes. She's really not one to hide in the middle of the fight, she likes to sneak up on people sure, but she doesn't hide once the poop hits the fans unless she successfully disengages; even then just being close to enemy champs reveals her, unlike the active stealth champs.

Really her stealth isn't combat stealth but an initiation tool that mainly serves to bypass enemies advance warnings. She works by creating a sense of fear of getting caught out, fear of the unknown. She also works by preventing the other jungler to know where she is and what she is doing until the last possible second if you haven't put down pinks. So this is an important question because if riot chooses to remove her stealth, evelynn is going to have to have a number of other changes as her current gameplay and what she brings to the game will be completely erased.

I hope she'll be mid viable as well as a jungler after her rework. The thing that makes her a good jungler now (kinky surprise ganks) technically makes her an effective roamer even if she's currently ignored as a mid. It's pretty cool for the evelynn player because you force the enemy mid to ping missing every time he loses sight of her, just because there's a potential she could be roaming. Again, this goes into her theme of creating fear of the unknown for the other team that wouldn't be possible without her stealth.

So as you guys can guess, I really hope the stealth will stay in her kit.

PS. Also, while I'm thinking about it, since Evelynn's cool boots are a part of her character's design, would it be possible for riot to take the cassiopeia route with her and maybe give her a passive that prevents her from buying boots but gives her some speed and other benefits as she levels up or buys items?

PPS. Since we are talking about her rework I know she's going to get a VU, please riot don't change anything her current visual theme at all. The idea of a blue skinned (alien) sexy babe is a common trope in sci fi and fantasy and Evelynn delivers on that theme in a unique way. Deleting that aspect of her would not only ruin her character, but also come off as prudish, close minded, and show riot lacks any sort of artistic integrity. Frankly everything is covered so she's PG-13 at worst and the fact she's a bit on the naughty side of things is part of her appeal. To put it simply, Evelynn shouldn't be tamed because that would kill some of the roster diversity. Not all champions should be 100% prudish. The Taric rework is a good example of this and if anything, should encourage you to push Evelynn's kink and bust size to the limits. I mean if Taric can have a big chest that sticks out for everyone to gaze on in wonder and awe, it's only fair Evelynn should as well. It wouldn't make sense for him to be fit for a cover of a romance novel and for her to be made ultra-conservative.
