Xerath =item 3027 item 3116 item 3151 item 3001 item 3157 item 3158

I have a feeling that it's very effective because i did it once and it was too op when enemies try to focus me because i am the mage carry but same time i was tank

Abyssal isn't really viable on him anymore but Banshee's would work in its place

Problem is that Abyssal Scepter does not help Xerath's kit much because all of his skills have longer range than Abyssal Scepter's aura.

also its getting changed soon so its probably good to get that off the list

I wouldn't call a new icon for the item a change worth re-evaluating it. It's already got the stats/effects shown on the PBE's screenshot.

It's a build working for for extended Teamfighting. AKA: Enemy has at least 2 Full-Tanks as well as your team. THAN that is a build I'd go for.

Against traditional YoloQ-Teams. The squishy FULLAP build seems alot better to me.

I'm not an expert on this (I'm an ADC), but just glancing at that build, it looks ok to me. You have lots of AP, slow, extra damage from Abyssal and Liandri's, some survivability and some CDR.

Well assuming you buy rod first, you won't do very much damage early since it only gives 60 ap. Next the slow will make you more of a utility mage than a damage one. You won't really be tanky until your last 2 items since that's when you get resistances and not just health.

It's a good utility build that can still one shot a squishy (like everything else in the game) but it's not a ton of damage.

Banshee feels absolutely broken on long range mages

With the Extra HP, The slow and %HP melt, I would guess such a build will be useful against a tanky team, especially if you need to kite them. The extra HP will help your from being bursted down in one combo. While the Slow will allow you to maintain distance and widdle your attackers down.

This would be different from a more typical Siege build, but I think would serve a specific purpose.

I have no idea what that Swain build is doing on Xerath, but ok.
