how do you even do that? on the first camp? i can see overestimating your ability to take the second camp, but if you're playing a champion who is capable of jungling, you can take the first camp even with no leash at all, and can generally full clear with a good leash.

The worst part though is having your team treat you like the worst plague imaginable after being that jungler that dies on the first camp. All it takes is a little lag spike to do it.

It is quite a big learning curve to get her initial trap placement for the first clear down. Especially when starting red side if you screw up a little bit the clear can be insanely scary.

Leashless on Nidalee one screw up is a early back or dieing to the second camp. Honestly getting her first clear down has been the hardest out of all meta junglers for me. I'm nearly level 4 mastery now with Nidalee and still screw it up on a relatively regular basis when I'm starting red side. The skill floor for her jungling is brutal. I legitimately find Evelynn's first full clear leashless to be easier.

Although when you get it right it's not a full clear of just your jungle. You can actually full clear both sides before first back (In a custom at least)

I've only jungled with her once and I think I didn't do too bad. Wasn't exactly easy, that's for sure.

She's definitely the hardest meta jungler to do a first clear on. But, when you do get it down its insane. Literally the fastest jungle clears I've ever seen (Full clear around 3:20 leashless with the health to gank, and half mana). Blue Side 3 traps at wolves, 2 at blue seems a bit easier than 2 krugs, 3 red, 3rd on krug as the big krug spawns.
