Do we really need both Clairvoyance and the Blue Orb Trinket?

Neither one is heavily used and they both do practically the same thing. Is there a reason to keep both?

To me, Clairvoyance is meant for buff and objective control. It's global with only a minute cooldown so you can be in bot lane and check Baron pit. Blue trinket is meant for bush checking. Similar mechanics, completely different roles.

If I'm supporting someone and I'm confident in our bot lane comp, I'll pick Clairvoyance over Exhaust.

I personally like to take {{summoner:2}} whenever i'm doing Jungle or mid lane so I can keep tabs on our or their jungle. But only when I use skype or something with my friends since the message gets across much faster and easier.

I think blue trinket has actually made its way into being pretty common to have one of on a team. Though if memory serves, when they added it they admitted they really weren't sure there was a point to keeping the CV summoner, but also didn't see harm in leaving it.
