If there are series games for promotion there should be for demotion too

If someones gets in a series then they most likely deserve to be promoted. (I'm for getting rid of promo games, but it appears that Riot isn't going to do that) But since we have series games why don't we have demotion games?

imagine if you could only promote once your MMR catches up. And if there was a shield so you cant promote for 10 games after advancing a tier lol

You generally get 2-3 games before you demote at 0 LP depending on your MMR is. If your MMR was exceptionally high before you hit 0 you can get 5 games.
