it was a 1v1
and being fed doesnt mean you out duel someone while exhausted

There are many factors that will play into it..
Specific Champion Champion level difference Champions builds.

The guy you were quoting was referring to the subtraction of 1600 - 40% which is 960. I.e. the difference after exhaust.
