i do literally nothing for the team, except stay top and farm. and i get a S-

i allowed myself to get carried, thats it.

surely there has to be something measured other than KDA/farm.

unless ofc.... so few galio games played theres just no comparison >.> so anything gets a high rating.

wouldnt it make more sense to measure damage dealt, turrets/objective assists, wards placed, APM (if that were a thing). and measure it against your own team mates/enemy team to see a difference like "yeah you really did out perform the enemy team by a lot"

otherwise zero deaths and high farm is guaranteed a high rating. in addition to just getting a win automatically puts you above a B.

The grading scale compares you to other Galios so there's that.

But because Galio isn't played often, we can assume that most people who play him actually know how to play him well to some extent, so it should be harder.

Not necessarily.

Even among unpopular champs, it's not correct to automatically assume that the few people who are playing him are definitely Galio masters. Those players would most likely still be the bare minority of Galio players just like masters of any other champ are the bear minority of their player pool.

I mean, we can apply your argument to urgot, and then the inconsistencies in the logic become reeeeeeeaaaaaally evident.

Horribly broken. Scale well, tank, disrupt and split push to open the Flood Gatez of victory, B!

Yet i suck ADC and even when i perceive it as bad i get B when i lost.

So it is weird. Mostly due to being compared to other people who play the same champion.

Not your overall performance that match.
