This is why New Champions shouldn't be part of Rank for a week or two

That "one" kill she got, was when the enemy was hitting our nexus and Yi decided to flash into the fountain for "luls"

But Riot could careless about this.

Swain and Soraka on the other team and no one has executioners. People really hate buying that item. Tough game man.

Salron45 votes

Executioners doesn't do shit to Soraka's healing

Westonbirt9 votes

It helps with her self healing. Which she needs to be able to keep up and not kill herself healing everyone.

Yrzen17 votes

On top of that, Yi has lifesteal.

Soraka, Sona, anything with lifesteal: 1/2 Aatrox, Swain, Vladimir, Mundo, etc: 1

If the number constituting their team is 2 or more, you should probably get Mortal Reminder.

FastAsHeck3 votes

even udyr has build in lifesteal and jinx would probably build some if the game went on more facepalm why do people keep building the same items as last season

Westonbirt3 votes

It's hard to change habits.

Baron of Bread17 votes

It doesn't do much against Soraka unless you attack her since wounds only affects self heals now. Totally worth for Swain though.

With that build I don't think he is going to heal that much. A bigger damage item or thornmail/ga would be better against him.

For being a game ruining piece of shit. Feeders > toxicity. And new champs in ranked is fucking insulting. Try that shit in bots before you ruin the game for 9 other people.

I feel like this is the attitude that gets people perma banned

Agreed completely. I'm fine with feeders (within reason), it's a game. I'm not fine with toxicity because that effects people outside of a game

Probably. Riot's rhetoric is completely detrimental to the actual health of the game, but hey, we got all those people that use the word fuck, right?

Might as well slap a PG rating on the game and call it good. Won't be long till our Chinese overlords have Riot censor everything.

zPOOPz4 votes

lol. When will you learn? I can type "fuck me, that was bad" or "that game is so gay" all day long and I bet you I won't get banned. Don't blame the word. It is how you use it that get you banned.

You'll get chat restricted, not banned, and it will be automated, not overseen by an actual person. This has been proven over, and over, and over.

zPOOPz2 votes

I haven't been chat restricted yet..."fuck" does not automatically make it a bad word. I used it all the time not in an offensive way or offensively directing it against someone along with "shit" "gay" "noob" etc.

I doubt Riot's automatic ban system is actively scanning every single game. You have to be reported and if you don't use it offensively against anyone, I don't see why anyone would report you.

Fuck is absolutely, 100% reportable. It's purely volume of reports, and I see people reporting all the time. I won't report for language because that's dumb as hell, but this game is full of babbies.

zPOOPz2 votes

The word "fuck" by itself without offensive context is much less reportable than the RACIST "Chinese overlords" comment you made early

How is that racist? The company that owns Riot Games is Chinese. Chinese overlords. I could've said %%%%% communist overlords, that would've been racist.

That's not even racist, because Chinda is communist.

I don't think you understand just exactly why toxic behavior is more punishable than toxic play (intentionally feeding, trolling etc.)

For one thing, words can cut deep. You never know who you're talking to, and you never know what they're going through. Words have caused many people to take their own lives, and I don't care what your opinion of suicide is, that is simply fact. Also you won't get banned for saying the word fuck, if you're a blatant asshole, then yeah, I'd be worried.

Secondly, it's far easier to ban someone for toxic behavior because Riot has actual proof. They have chat logs, they can pull those chat logs and see a player spouting rage and flame and calling their team mates the worse things possible and say "Yeah, that dude needs a ban". However, they can't just look at someone's 0-20 and ban them for intentionally feeding (even if they were). Why? Because they weren't there, they have no physical proof other than a score which means nothing

Hell, it's even hard to go by reports, because what if someone just had a really bad game, and they ended up going like 0-15, even though they tried their best, yet their 4 salty team mates reported them for intentionally feeding. If that person got banned, it would completely wrong on Riot's part.

However, Riot is indeed working on a system to combat intentionally feeding, so hopefully that will become less of an issue.

I suppose we'll be getting it "soon"? Only one facet of the diamond ensuring this game will always be mediocre. You can always mute someone being toxic as fuck. You can't mute a feeder or AFK.

Just because there is a mute button doesn't give people the freedom to be a raging asshole

No, but should you encounter that rare, raging asshole you can easily deal with them with one click of the mouse. But yeah, THAT'S the problem ruining League.

It's the number one reason why the new player experience is terrible. So yeah, it is.

Smurfs are. Not toxic fucks who take the game too seriously, though I suppose the two can overlap.

Exactly. Smurfs already know how to play the game, so the toxic ones completely berate and call new players the worse things imaginable (not all smurfs do this, but more than enough do to cause outcry about it)

Also, I want to go back to your previous post.

Rare occasion? I'm sorry, are we even playing the same game?

What I'd argue on this is that anyone taking them immediately into ranked won't bother practicing them in normals just because they're disabled for a week or two, they'll take them into ranked as soon as they are enabled, still without experience.

LithiumWednesday5 votes

Alternatively, there's the players that actually know what they're doing and abuse release-state champs in ranked. Granted, there are bans, but it would be nice if I could have some faith in teammates.

Idk man

Last game I was against an Illaoi mid who CRUSHED Of course she still lost because Zed jg trolled because he didnt get mid, Vlad lost to my Nasus, and her botlane lost hard. But I have no doubt she would have won that game if not for the rest of her teammates

Don't get it wrong, Riot does care, the finance department does at least.

Thats funny, because I find her really good right now. Anyways, I kind of half agree. Also, a reminder, you really shouldn't care too much about Ranked because its preseason.

bro it counts for your provisional.

Meep Man2 votes

I don't play Ranked in Preseason, or at least not until the final Preseason patches (5.24 most likely). It is too hazardous of an environment to try and rank up in. Plus, this will only help you out so much, on average probably only increasing you from, for example, Gold V to Gold III or so. Basically, to me, Ranked isnt something I should (and in my opinion most) should stress over right now.

ZephyrDrake2 votes

you say this like people won't just feed with any other champion. Most of the time it's not the champions fault but the players fault

Lstrike2 votes

Why do you assume the 1/14 is because its a new champ. I have seen players go 1/14 on other champs as well.. So should those champs be disabled too? It may also be because the player is bad or had an offday

ElegantDoge2 votes

Why the hell is this post upvoted ?What the hell is wrong with OP? You're aware not everyone is a dumbass and will first time a champ in ranked ? What if the guy is simply bad and would have feed with ANY champ ? What if he was having technical issues.Seriously you post ONE SCREEN FROM ONE GAME and you act like it's a major issue.

Just What the hell man ?

Because the case you are describing is 5%.
