It doesn't work that well with items, so I made this checklist for items:

[ ]: Riot nerfed all the competing items into the dirt. Then danced on their graves. [ ]: Riot nerfed the item into the dirt. Now it's useless. [ ]: Riot gave the item some "nerfs" that made it the best on Summoner's Rift, ESQ. [ ]: Riot gave the item some "buffs", which naturally made it completely useless. [ ]: The item is so good that it is mandatory on literally every [classification of champion]. [ ]: The item makes anyone who buys it snowball if they get a kill. [ ]: The item gives insane amounts of mobility. [ ]: The stats the item gives are so obscene that buying it is probably illegal in some parts of the country. [ ]: The item is ridiculously gold efficient. [ ]: The item will do everything you need it to, including your homework, your job, and your significant other. [ ]: The Balance Team got drunk as hell and decided that [invulnerability/massive stat buff/tower shut down/50% bonus crit damage/etc...] wasn't going to make balancing an item nearly impossible. Whoops. [ ]: The active of the item is insanely overpowered. [ ]: The item is weird. [ ]: The item breaks a basic game rule. [ ]: The synergy X item has with Y champion literally breaks the game in half. [ ]: Don't ask. [ ]: It's a bug. [ ]: We hope to God that it is a bug. [ ]: All of the above.
