I found out how to deal with Zed

I don't know if it works just on Lux,because it;s the only champion I experimented with,but in 3 games where I played vs Zed,I felt absolutely no pressure from him. 1)Get Boneplating - Assuming you only get hit by ShadowE + Shadow Q+ Zed Q,this should be the rune to reduce his poke damage,thus his ult damage too. 2) Get 3 doran rings (or other doran items) so you dont have mana problems and get some health before Zhonya. 3)zhonya. At this point,you are at 0 risk to get killed by him unless 2 other lanes assist him.

Try this out,and let me know some results. Hope it helped!

So you halt your damage by about 15 minutes so Zed wouldn't kill you while he gets all the cash and will slaugher whoever he ganks either way?

I mean sure, if thats viable, great, but being forced to build defensively just because enemy picked Zed is just BS design.

If you build damage and die = he wins if you build defense = he ties in lane, gets better CS AND can still gank other lanes without issues = he wins

buying item 3157 would be nice if it weren't for the fact he doesnt need Ult to Kill mages, and if your going to make the excuse that armor will stop him his passive deals a lot of damage in its own right which is magic damage plus he builds leathality items like item 3142 item 3147 . that just negates most of the pluses from building it and unless you plan to build item 3047 then hour glass is the only armor that mage will build.also you can push him into his tower as a mage to deny him farm but thats suicide for mages since junglers will just camp.Even if you dont feed him kills he just out roams you and gets fed from the other laners who dont meticulously play around one champion from another lane.

A lot of the replies to this pretty much read: “Oh no! We would have to actually change how we play the game! In a way that would outright turn a even/losing matchup into a winning matchup! That’s horrible! Actually building a semblance of defense against an assassin will completely cripple me!”

Though the 3 doran’s rings isn’t a great idea, the rest of the post is fair. And double doran’s rings is/was fairly standard on some champions. Corrupting pot plus a couple dark seals is also a valid build, though with less health and more sustain.

The real good suggestion here is the boneplating. That legitimately cripples zed’s damage. It’s the part of the reason why aftershock lissandra was so good. The aftershock+boneplating made her outright unkillable by most midlaners.

Sylas just run at him Tristana all in him lvl 2 Mordekaiser shove him in and punish if he fights you Annie Just hit all your buttons Chogath land 1 knockup and delete him Vladimir pool his ult Fizz pole his ult Talon Just all in him whenever you feel like it Irelia Mash Q ETC He has a strong outplay kit, but he isnt unstoppable.

OK, haven't played in ages, so take things with a grain of salt.

But if you have gone defense tree, triple dorans, and hourglass, then you have lost already. At that point you have given up way too much damage/CDR/mana sustain to ever be able to put out even a modicum of pressure. So Zed gets to ignore you, and freely roam bot/top. As a bonus, your build has been so hamstringed that you will be a non factor outside of your Q CC until about 30 minutes, and frankly, most games are closing out by that point.
