...And how many people are just using it to be sparkly in game?

I loaded in to an aram earlier where everyone was using it and I was like "Sweet, it's my people" before actually playing and hearing their banter and realising that most of them actually thought very little of gay people. It was a bit demoralising! As much as I love being sparkly I'm kinda wishing Riot didn't tie a cool effect to it

idk queer seems like a better umbrella term than an increasingly long acronym to me, which is why I used it. But yeah.

I am running it because its pride and I know a few folks who appreciate seeing it even thou I am not a member of the community. I support my friends, I know some amazing humans who enrich my life and their orientation is a zero factor. For me, Good people are just good people, this shit is not complicated.

I actually don't use it because of the rainbow, I don't really like the effect. And I can support the LGBTQ community without having to pave everything with rainbows.

I watch an allegedly gay guy on twitch but even though he can be annoying he makes some relatively solid content for the games he plays. I don't approve of such sexual behavior, but there's a lot more wrong with the world than some guys being gay. Gay people are humans too and they are capable of doing good and bad things like the rest of us. We're all messed up.

I like rainbow stuff somewhat, but I've always thought it silly that someone calls this kind of art a symbol of being a sexual deviant. Is Sona a gay champion and how many colors does it take before the champion's theme qualifies as sexual deviant rainbow? I dislike Sona compared to other champions, but it's due to that her hard disable is on a really long cooldown more than anything else.

If I liked the rainbow trail enough to use it, then I would. But I don't. I'm not going to flame someone in LoL for anything that happens outside of LoL.
