Giving up should be a reportable (and bannable!) offense

While I'm sure the boards right now are hot with very pissed off people about the general matchmaking system, another issue I find more pressing is just the general attitude of the people I'm paired with.

Why? Well, in the beautiful ~43% I'm stuck at because of the enormous loss streak I'm cursed to live, what I found past the OP champions that had to be banned every game, broken items that create very toxic laning or teamfighting experiences, and annoying ass Yasuo mains, was that people give up. While the system says that as a team we should win, my team loses. Most of the time, it is because they've simply just given up. Or most of all, just one person.

One person who decides that this game is over and that their efforts are no longer required and decide to throw it all.

You want to be a Negative Nancy, then don't play ranked. Don't be where millions of players are hoping to do their best and climb and cause distress because you, YOU have decided that these four people should have to have their time wasted because you believe the game is over, and that going top and dying over and over as a jungler is necessary to make people mad so you feel better. If that is you, then don't play League at all.

I'm not sure if the ban system is even on right now, because the amount of people who are doing this is about 88% in terms of "Are they present in this current match?". It's every game that I lose there is someone giving up and deciding they're QUITTING without AFKing. That is just as much as trolling as actually leaving a game, sitting in fountain, or simply just sitting in front of dragon as a Teemo. Except they are guaranteeing a loss.

WE SHOULD AGREE THESE PEOPLE NEED A RESTRICTION FROM RANKED UNTIL THEY CAN PROVE THEY WILL TRY

EDIT: Instantly got a lot of downvotes. Safe to say I don't see anyone else suggesting fixes to shitty matchmaking, autofill, and boosted bronzes from S6 Dynamic Queue

EDIT 2: Since people have trouble understanding written language, I will add to my statement: When I say giving up, I am not saying that you don't forfeit. That's not a problem; some people just want to continue to try. However, what I believe to be reportable is denying the surrender option, refusing to group with team, going a lane and dying over and over, and verbally saying that they are griefing in chat.

IF YOU CANNOT READ, AT LEAST TRY TO COMPREHEND EDIT 2 BEFORE WRITING A REPLY THAT OBVIOUSLY DOES NOT COINCIDE WITH THE ARGUMENT.

If this were the case, the surrender feature wouldn't exist. Although I never surrender, it's understandable to surrender some games that go 10 ally kills compared to 25 enemy kills and the enemy has a large portion of objective/map control.

This game would be so much better if people played safe and didn't die as much. If your lane opponent is stronger than you, it's OK to be behind 30 CS or something and just play safe. Just get through the laning phase with 0 deaths.

The worst thing anyone can do is start feeding. Once you die and go 0-1, that's it. Time to play safe. But instead, then I hear the announcer "Scrublord has died again" and is now 0-2. Then 0-3. It's around this point that we realize what Matchmaking has done..... and this game is close to being over.

So no, OP, I don't agree with you. If someone wants to surrender and clicks on the Vote Yes button, that's their right. There's an argument to be made that your scrubbiness is wasting other people's time too, in a game that is hopeless, or if you do have a small chance to win..... it's going to be a 50+ minute long game just for the chance to maybe win. A lot of people feel it's not worth it and just type /ff and vote Yes.

Personally, I hate it when people like you refuse to Vote Yes and just prolong our suffering and waste our time.
