Oh hell no. You are not removing Dominion too.

Dominion was one of the most interesting modes you possibly ever made. The mode literally died because you refused to support it. The game mode was instead over run by bots and players did not want to play a game mode that was not fully supported.

Dominion could be so much more, if you supported it. Channel some resources to it, do not get rid of it.

Dominion was the fast paced, item testing, minigame mode that we all loved. The community is huge, it just died to lack of support.

Now is the time guys, now is the time for us to mass play Dominion, to show Riot the mistake they are making.

We have lost everything this season. The removal of green wards, the gutting of trinkets, the turrets actually being useful, DO NOT take away Dominion.

Now is the time to speak up.

God this is stupid, read the damn announcement. Upon release, during a time when Summoners Rift wasn't fleshed out or as popular, and they actually supported Dominion, everyone still jumped to SR instead, Dominion was NEVER popular, whether they supported it or not. It is not worth the dev time to figure out how to make dominion work, or to spend so many resources to balance everything around a map that no one played. It's not them refusing to support it, it's that there was no reason to, and would be a colossal waste to support it.

Except that never worked.

History lesson, it never was popular, it never died because of support, it died because it was awful and majority of the playerbase never enjoyed , no point in time was it ever popular.

Now is the time guys, now is the time for us to mass play Dominion, to show Riot the mistake they are making.

HaHAHAHA. Remember that gamemode that's been here for years that no one liked? Start playing it to show them that you like it!

Yeah like hat will change anything. Read above.

Is this not the most obvious attempt at garnering cheap upvotes? "I'll bring up other things that get people going, that will make them agree with me!"

Yes, Dominion going is somewhat sad, I have spent a lot of time on it actually, especially recently, but it was a bad mode, it was a dud it just didn't take off.

What I am pondering right now is why everyone is attacking Riot on this, and why it's being viewed as them not supporting it = community hates it.

Instead of community hated it = not supporting it.

I'll have to agree with you on this, Dominion was a pretty aweful game mode. I think people are just freaking out because it's been with the game so long and league just wont feel the same anymore with it gone.

Good job on the confirmation bias and the tautological argument. Dominion sucks = Dominion sucks... You are totally not rewriting the history or being a Riot fanboy.

Dominion actually sucks because it never got any support outside of the Single Token Riot Staffer. Even that guy eventually got pulled. SR has had nonstop support since its inception.

Dominion never had Ranked, which for competetive people is one of biggest driving factors for playing SR and TT. Can you honestly tell me that if Sumoner's Rift lost Ranked that people would play SR as much?

And in terms of design, SR and Dominion are essentially 2 different gasmes. Riot should not have shoehorned in SR champions into Dominion as is. Stacking Champions like Nasus, Veigar, and Sion for starters need a mini rework to fit into Dominion.

Riot is unscrupulous and full of double-standards. This is yet another blatant example of their laziness and bias when it comes to balance and game design.

Nope. It never got popular, never a time dominion was the games Urf mode, or even on the level of Twist Treeline. Even when it was supported.

Well yeah the big main SR is where they should be pooling all there resources, majority of the playerbase like and play that gamemode.

Same cannot be said for dominion, with or without support community didn't really enjoy it.

Dominion never had Ranked, which for competetive people is one of biggest driving factors for playing SR and TT. Can you honestly tell me that if Sumoner's Rift lost Ranked that people would play SR as much?

Yes? People would still play summoners rift normals over dominion any day.

If you think Dominion not having ranked was one of the reasons it blew more then an asian prostitute you need to broaden your perspective a bit.

And in terms of design, SR and Dominion are essentially 2 different gasmes. Riot should not have shoehorned in SR champions into Dominion as is. Stacking Champions like Nasus, Veigar, and Sion for starters need a mini rework to fit into Dominion.

I thought you were arguing against me and for Dominion, you just gave a very valid reason they would not want dominion around? But yes, it's a different gamemode and playstyle, balancing champions in dominion would take considerable effort on there part and some kits or champions just flat out would suck completely on Dominion or be insanely broken on it, and it would stay this way unless they got massive alterations. This is not something worth keeping up with for the upcoming years, and trying to limit future champions/reworks because they need to take dominion into account would be hell.

Riot is unscrupulous and full of double-standards. This is yet another blatant example of their laziness and bias when it comes to balance and game design.

Did you really just accuse them of being unfair because they removed a mode that no one played or liked? Where is the bias in this? How is this lazy? Do you not understand game design? Because logically this is a smart move, and I of course saw the hate threads coming because people complaining don't care about Dominion, I'm betting half of them haven't even played 1 game of it. They just like to hate when opportunity for it occurs.

I can already see changes, If you have a location, you can teleport to the nearest one you have control over, that would players move faster with a sort of built in teleport to the system by clicking their structure while its theirs. let there be a unique jungle! Desert creatures are terrifying! id love to have a movement speed buff or just the same things we already have in Summoners Rift, Baron could spawn at the center <3 or a new boss (Nagakaboros anyone?)

Dominion was the ... mode that we all loved

So much that you and most people complaining very rarely played the mode (if at all) even when it was being supported. Riot didn't just choose to have Dominion die, it was never popular to begin with. It was a failure and people didn't like it. So why would Riot waste resources on a map people chose not to even continue playing?

It hasn't been supported for a very long time. The Map could be so much more, not too mention if they had ranked dominion.

Because majority of the player base didn't care about Dominion, if people chose to actually play Dominion instead of giving up on it when it was still new they would have probably supported it. Putting resources into something that already died so quickly is meaningless.

You yourself didn't care about Dominion and chose SR like most people did. If you loved it and found it as interesting as you claim you wouldn't have so few games on it. I originally played it until I got tired of being in que for up to 30 minutes. Que times would be long even when playing in a premade.

I just want to state that i perosnally LOVE dominion, and i feel very bad about riot retiring it..

I have more than 1000 wins on dominion, and its has always been my preffered mode. I play LoL to have fun, i dont play lol to rage, or be raged upon, and dominion makes that possible.

Also i have always hated, to played a game on sr that would take 50 min. even though you knew that you wouldn't be able to win, for varies reasons.

on dominion, a bad game would take 10 mins, and a fun interresting game would take up to 25.

and one more thing. Some of my friends thinks, that they are a better lol player than me. Then i started taking summoners rift serious, for an (amount of games) maybe 150 - 200 games.. then i took 50 ranked games, and climbed from s5 to g4 in 60 games.. Then i went back to my favourite game mode, since i thought that i had showed my point.

Dominion should be respected, and shouldnt be removed

You are misrepresenting Dominions playerbase with today's statistics. Though it was never as large, there was a significant and loyal playerbase for the first 2 years after the game was released. Dominate Dominion had a large following and we hosted our own tournaments. Dominion players pleaded and begged for support from Riot all the while because we knew how fun Dominion was and the possibilities it had.

...And do you know what Riot...

Riot essentiality said FUCK YOU DOMINION AND FUCK YOUR PLAYERBASE, WE HOPE YOU DIE A SLOW AND MISERABLE DEATH WHILE WE PUMP MONEY INTO SR. The facts speak for themselves no matter how much you lie.

Even if you don't like Dominion, you should not be actively seeking the deletion of a game mode you don't play. This does not set a good precedent, even you should be able to see that. I don't know why you have such a raging boner for spitting on a gamemode. Did Dominion bumfuck your father or something?

So, I can't tell if this is targeted at me or someone else, BUT. Reread my post, I'm fighting for dominion to stay lmao.
