Whats a good all-round champion for silver?

Okay so Long story short, im a 150k/500k Kat/Diana main respectively. In my recent games, ive found myself getting countered super hard. The other team would have tons of cc & my team would have none to set me up a good combo.

So are there any champions out there that have little counters & dont rely on team comp? Preferably one that can do well in aolo queue. Im not used to playing top lane but Im open for anything.

I was thinking Kayn/Zed/Jinx, opinions on them?

Side note, I'm Mid Silver.

Jinx is good because she can deal a ton of damage safely with her rockets, which is good against a deathball team full of tanks

I love Zed, but DO NOT play him. As much as people complain and cry about him, he's in a pretty shitty spot right now. You're better off using Ekko , where you can spam Q like zed but it actually clears the wave, gives a slow, and can potentially hit twice. You also get a mini dash with amplified damage procs and a dome that gives you a shield and a possible stun on multiple enemies. Oh yeah, and you get a get out of jail "oops I fucked up let me try again" R coupled with item 3157 . Plus he scales really well and isn't very hard to use at all. So yeah, I'd advise against Zed.
