More like sheep are too stupid to realize that there are other masteries out there that are more useful than "hurr durr muh early game burst xD!".

Its hardly early game burst, its devestating late game. burst mages have loads of extra burst, AD bruisers have counter armor, assassins eliminate targets so much faster. its not like its +50 plus flat damage. its loads of extra, scaling damage with no difficulty in procing.

If it's on carries who actually builds damage and scale into later game, then TL isn't bad. It's great for champs who always hit 3 times, such as Lucian, and Fizz.

However, if someone like a support is taking it..... then TL becomes even more useless than a late-game ignite, especially ones who builds ZERO damage items. So what... steal kills and starve carries, then to be useless late game? Best support ever xD!

Exactly.

Thunderlords is an early game mastery that can actually scale late game when you build AP or AD, but otherwise it falls off late game.

Except it works. support sona with thunderlord does more damage than our midlane sometimes. it it werent broken people wouldnt use it. you can deny it all you want, everyone sees it needs nerfs. every champion hits 3 times, in my opinion basic attacks shouldnt be able to proc it.

it's really the only mastery worth taking on bard. the early harass is infinitely more important than anything else (and everything he'd want is awful on him - ie windspeakers)

Each Bard I come across all pretend he is Brand, takes kills, and starves their ADCs.

I just sit and laugh at the enemy ADC who never caught because his Bard support is so fed, who later became useless later game as well.

If anyone is smart enough, his burst can be easily avoided by simply getting out of range and play safer in lane.

It's always the tankier or Windspeaker's Bards that makes botlane difficult.

nothing is more usefull than early game burst if it gets you snowballing...

I see thunderlords only used on champions with burst.

That's what thunderlords was meant to be used for.

So I don't see the problem.

I still see people taking it on champions that are not burst based, and are actually tanky. For example, Amumu, which completely lacks any synergy with Thunderlord's Decree.

Why does he lack it? he has 3 abilities if landed correctly can proc it perfectly. Think about it. :) Also aa's proc it as well :)

You can say that about pretty much any champ

Which is why its preference. Masteries are suppose to be viable of your play style. Not off the champ entirely. There is to be a preference as to what you want to play. :) Everyone just assumes or sees that something is "op" and deems it to be built on everyone hahahha. When in reality if you understand this game or play in higher elo. You know certain masteries do well with certain play styles and depend on your matchup you can decide what kind of lane or game you intend to play.

Take this guys post for example:

I don't mind it too much in top lane. Seems most people with Thunderlords up there are too busy poking me and preparing my Grasp of the Undying to realize my mastery will make me win the trade.

Uh, the tank junglers I see take the stacking health from killing cannons or jungle monsters one.

Some people still take thunderlords out of habit but that one is much better for tank junglers atm.

its better on most champs. it has nothing to do with burst or not . HELL. brand has the highest winrate with TL. not DFT.

Yeah, its kind of absurd.

It makes most match-ups about who can proc thunderlords in a more safe and efficient manner. It makes laning boring, imo.

Thunderlords synergy works well with lots of champs. They will deal with it in the future accordingly. Its no different than people complaining about only two viable ap routs in the masteries. Riots still working out the kinks. It will pry take this entire season to do so. It always does. Then they introduce something else "new".

I had a game when 4 enemies had Thunderlord and item 3285

"BUT LCS PRO TEAMS STILL ONLY USE THUNDERLORDZZ, SO I SHOULD TOO HURR DURR DURR"

Big Lincoln1 votes

I don't, i take it on a minority of champions now, Bard Poppy

everyone else I play, I'm either running strength of ages, grasp of undying (the new hidden OP), or fervor.

In the beginning,

There were godly players, and the balance of things was like the face of the vast waters (tumultuous), and to calm the tumult went the word: nerf. Soon the players were separated, salted water from unsalted water, ranked tier from ranked tier, one type champion from another type champion, and the authority was pleased, milestone one.
