What to do about twitch if your team lacks reliable cc in teamfights?

By reliable i mean point-click massive aoe. Twitch has been getting on my nerves, and frankly he's been a pain in the ass to assassinate/duel play against. they generally just clean up after teamfights or show up later on. Can't really predict it without literally having the surrounding area warded. I'm generally pretty quick to react and shunpo-W-Ult to him ( i main kat) but by that time He's probably already killed me. At best i can generally maybe jkill him after he kills me. Anyone know any good picks into him? Mages/assassins

Are you talking mid champs primarily? Artillary mages can be viable earlier in (with a complimentary comp) but by late game twitch lifesteal would negate any harass they can put out. Kassadin would be decent if not behind in gold. Talon, zed, fizz, any gap-closer that can get behind enemy lines or backdoor them via fog of war to catch twitch off-guard. The problem with kat is that she's much easier to CC once she engages & ults. She needs to stand still for a good amount of time to get the most out of her ult after all. I cant think of many champs right now but look for someone that can get in quick, blow their load, and get out before they're CC'd themselves.
