Frost Queen's Claim/Thunderlord's Decree QQ thread.

I'm so sick of seeing 8-10 players on every team have thunderlord's decree when there are 9 keystones.

I'm also sick of every midlaner who isn't zed taking Frost Queen's Claim. You know, the "support" item.

I'm just gonna use morg as an example, but there are other abusers. Morg just pools lane, ticks away free gold from FQC (and also autos on towers cause she pushes so god damn fast) and you take tons of damage from TD by being in the pool for like half a second. Not to mention the INSANE cc that isn't even point n click, it literally tracks you down and slows you 40% for 4 seconds, every 60 seconds, and reveals you on top of it. That's better than some of the ults in the game, on shorter cooldown. Now I've heard it only gives vision, but I swear it has tracked me down when I was stealthed as akali. Maybe it revealed me right as I stealthed, idk, but the fact that it won't let stealth units go stealth to escape is complete bullshit (kha, twitch, akali, etc.)

This item was designed for supports, the fact that so many people are using it mid usually is an indicator that something is wrong. Remember when soraka was god tier mid? Lulu has had problems too. Anytime something from support world takes over mid lane...you probably overdid it, riot.

RIP - salty akali

In defense of all who builf FQC outside of the support role.

It has become the new nr1 mana item for mana using mages. Morellos and Athenes are very expensive, Morellos passive is inderictly nerfed with the new grievous wounds item for ad users. Athenes gives a bit more manaregen, but only when your mana is low.

But the upsides of FQC are so damn many You fix any mana problems! Item pays for itself, tribute passive is really nice bonus damage and gold hell yea!! Smooth buildpath! Awesome active, especially now that vision got fucked!

Mage itemization sucks right now and this works a bit like a bandaid. All mage items are very expensive this item being basically free because it generates its own cost over the course of a game allows you to get your core items faster. Don't forget all mage items have stupid high combine costs. Having the little bit of extra gold helps overcome this a bit. With less vision your immobile midlaner got even more vulnerable, this helps scout for ganks or scout ahead when you do ward giving a bit of safety.

I don't understand why FQC has the "gold from poke passive disabled when you get CS" stipulation removed when it's upgraded from Spellthief's and Frostfang. A bit confusing for me. That clause's removal is literally the only thing making the item at all viable for mid lane mages, and leaving the clause in wouldn't affect supports whatsoever. If a player wanted to get CS while playing support, they'd play a Relic Shield support...

Never gonna understand why people who wouldn't use Decree as well that still go for Decree...I see Yasuos get it. He only has infinite sustain on champs after 2 items with Warlord's as well as the infamous 1.33 Q when the keystone procs...And he does like to duel/trade since he's Yasuo.

Remember the time when item 1413 was abused at top lane, and then item 1414 spammed at mid lane?

Congratz, the idiots have done it again with their mid lane item 3092 build.
