How duskblade losing 2 lethality makes it less of a problem when it is a first rush item on champions like rengar, zed, talon, kha.
As a mage, if I am against another mage. Am I suppose to get Seekers and then go into my core item, while my opp. goes right into core items?
But seriously, are we really going to ship current duskblade into S8? At least remove some of its damage and give it an AD scaling like Lich Bane or Ludens.

Its Vision Denial and and 99% slow for .5 seconds.
(That slow is stupidly strong it can and probably will prevent you from flashing correctly over walls, and if others are near. Slow you enough for skillshots to land)
(I am not saying that the slow is a problem directly for the item, I am saying the item has too much already )

You phrase your thread like it's still laning phase and a Jungler Assassin is coming to gank you. There's no way he already has a Duskblade without gimping his Build then, that or laning phase should've been over a loooooooong time ago. Point 1 is irrelevant to the discussion.
Duskblade doesn't really do that much damage, unless the game really is going muuuuch longer than you're suggesting.

Duskblade does do damage, lol. Just dropping by here to say that. Also, abusing it's extra damage when unseen is a factor as well.

Duskblade is the biggest power spike of any AD assassin....every other item just feeds into it. Also Duskblade vs Zhonyas feels like the worst thing ever for the person rushing Zhonyas. It barely does anything against it defensive wise, the active is the only thing it's good for.
