I look at Yrel's kit in HotS and think it could make a great tank in LoL

Yrel - Heroes of the Storm

Yes, more of me comparing HotS to LoL, but Blizzard has good designs with its heroes. Case in point is Yrel, the game's latest hero, who is a frontline tank whose abilities require charging to get the best results. This allows her lots of power, but requires deliberate commitment and planning with her abilities to get the most out of them. Crowd controls or high mobility can all throw off her engages, but she makes up for that with how potent her abilities can be.

Galio sorta comes close to this with his own kit, but not quite to the same degree. But I'd personally love to see a charge-up tank in this game. The whole charge-up mechanics would allow for some really high power budget, especially since Flash can let you avoid most of the attacks.

The problem I have with Yrel is her passive. You shouldn't design a character who covers their own flaws in a multiplayer game.

And an entire kit revolving around channels like that probably would work considering how easy it is to spam CC in league.

Sion is like actually good tank design though. His major issue right now is that he doesn't 'deal enough damage' aka 100-0. Which is fine, he shouldn't, but that's what is meta currently

I hate yrel though. when ever i have one on my team she dosnt do anything but soak damage when people arent trying to fight. she will 1v5 just to show off how tanky and how much sustain she has. its so obnoxious to watch.

Ana would be a nice addition though. Skillshot based healer is verry fun to play.

Why don’t we have skill shot based healers?!
