PSA: Team comp ALWAYS matters

Every game

Every elo

Every team of allies

Every team of opponents

Every meta

Team comp always matters. I can't count the amount of times I lose games because my team says "We're in _ elo. Just play, fuck it." Then we lose because people don't realize that if you pick a carry in every lane, and one feeds, WE'RE FUCKING SCREWED.

Like, you can't make your support the only utility on your entire team and expect a good chance of winning. That's not giving yourself enough to fall back on in case a lane does poorly.

Not for nothing but I would want my team mates to play something that they know how to play compared to something their not as good at.

You don't understand. I've seen people main these champs and go 0/12. So I would say people who don't know how the champ works can screw up and hard.

I meant that they were simple enough to where a first time player could manage without a lot of issues in learning them. They are pretty simple to understand.

That feeling when you're Nasus and the only tank on the team. [slayer-jinx-unamused]

The story of my life. He's a bruiser, not a tank, no matter how tanky you build him.

He only brings two meaningful forms of CC: Wither and d e a t h.

Nasus isn't a tank? His ult gives him a sizable amount of health, and a decent amount of armor/mr. Most people build him full-tank, too (Unless you're me, then you do go draintank with GA, because fuck my opponents' MMR and LP. :D) simply because of his damage on his Q. He's a damage-tank. Like Darius &c..

[I'm not trying to be an ass, I'm actually confused. I thought he was a tank. ;w;]

I would suggest reading through the two following links:

If you want an abbreviated version, Nasus has high durability, high damage, low mobility and low/medium utility for his team. As such, he is considered a Juggernaut (along with other champions such as Darius, Mundo, Volibear, Illaoi, etc).

Tanks will typically have moderate mobility, high durability, low to moderate damage and high utility. Examples include Amumu, Sejuani, Maokai and Poppy.

Not so much right now. You can pick 5 ad comp without tanks and still win if you build arpen items.

Lemme put it like this: CAN =/= A SMART THING TO DO

I don't know what's with this community and this numbskull way of thinking that goes "Oh, it's theoretically possible for me to win with severe self-implemented disadvantages. Instead of listening to the guy waving his arms and screaming about these lose-conditions we're walking into, let's just YOLO QUEUE!!!!".

Like, you can get fed with Teemo, but is it smart to play Teemo? Usually no. That's the point.

maybe you are trash

Or maybe he can't count on enemies being trash.

And if even the support doesn't bring much utility, and you've not even thought about that until you're already losing hard (like when I decided to pick Dr. Mundo support with a Fiora top and Kayle jungle), then you're off even worse unless you can get thoroughly ahead and stay there, or the enemy team just can't push their own strengths.
