i usualy play vi jungle (or mainly)

last game i had an udyr and well it was a bad jungler, but i dont know anythign about him

i tried to take his red but he started there so i couldnt take his blue either at lvl9 i traded with him and he got beaten (until extremaly fed vel koz and trynda came to help him

also i know that there is tiger and phoenix udyr

how does udyr work and behave ?

also funny thing udyr was 100% sure that he is stronger than me, he lost the tade and teabagged my corpse, he was spamming in allchat that its stupid to come to his jungle, stole my blue but lost his in return and didnt even notice it, well 90% of his jungle presence in my jungle was his team who was just looking for kills, ganks made no sence cause gp diet 3 times as fast as he came to lane, ahri charmed only minions (literaly vel stood away from farm and she hit a minion so i had to kill him alone), bot was sleeping and i had to solo 2, both ran with low hp while vayne farmed and sona shielded her still udyr was crappy but i dotn realy know what he does, and i want play him cause he is ugly as fk without skinn

Udyr is an early game oriented control jungler that transitions into a late game splitpusher. His primary draw as a jungler is the fact that he can powerfarm the jungle without losing health and can duel pretty much anyone early on, which lets him counterjungle very aggressively. His Passive and E also give him very high strategic mobility (with blue buff, he can essentially motor around at 500 units/second), which, in combination with his strong dueling and respectable waveclear, allows him to pressure objectives very effectively.

Baring an enormous lead, it is not wise to invade an Udyr at any stage of the game.

He suffers pretty heavily from a lack of tactical mobility, though, and offers very little in siege situations. If your team has decent siege, grouping early essentially nullifies him as a champion.

well thats not what i want to know but thanks anyway

udyr which i did meet was no able to just duel me, he got beaten with a huge diference despite having lvl advantage (i think it might be a drawback of buying wriggles lantern, i never went so agressive vs udyr because by default he should eat me)

i would like to know how his power spikes, when should i hit him, what kind of fail can he make that i could use to just bury him

lets look at ww, despite being a duelist champ (sustain wont work if you will get bursted) if you will catch him right after he uses q on something you can eat him easily and he wont be probably able to get ms buff from his e, on the other hand late you need to get a teamfight break his ult and peel him off

Well, according to lolking, the Udyr you were playing against built Boots of Swiftness, Zephyr and Spirit Stone, so he was kinda fucking himself over. If he were investing in actual combat stats, he likely would have been able to duel you much more easily.

Udyr's build powerspikes significantly at a completed FF and Triforce, but ramps up relatively smoothly after that. As a champion, his damage will usually start plateauing after level 9, but it's entirely possible that he'll decide to max both Q and R, in which case it'll continue scaling throughout the game. Largely depends on the Udyr.

Anyways, the mechanics of Udyr's kit basically means that he's never on cooldown and almost always at full health, so it's kinda hard to point to one moment and say "You should attack Udyr now." You fight him by grouping early and denying him the opportunity to farm his jungle/pressure objectives. Tactically, pretty much the only way to shut him down is by kiting him to death, which most junglers aren't very good at.

if you checked the profile of the guy who played udyr, then look at the date cause its from 2 days ago the one i played vs had wrigless lantern, spirit stone, mercury boots with blue enchant, giants belt and wardens mail

and if you want to tell me that udyr wins all trades by default then why is this champ not nerfed yet? i mean what kind of counterplay is that to run away ?

Same issue with prioritizing objective control over combat stats. God knows how all this madstone nonsense got started, but it certainly does make your life a lot easier if you're playing against it.

I already touched on how you should fight him, but yeah - 1v1ing Udyr isn't really wise under normal circumstances. He's very, very good at dueling people, especially early in the game. Fortunately, however there's a lot more to this game than 1v1ing people in the jungle.

Madstone is Trick2g thing. The idea is you farm super well, and can spam your abilities while killing jungle creeps to regain the mana. Essentially you never need to leave the jungle, and only go oom when you duel. In his video (yea ive tried this a couple of times) he specifically says to afk farm for the first 15-20 minutes to build a giant level/ gold lead. He delays the power spike of TF and BotRK for the farming potential
