Vel'Koz?

He is kind of good but why pick him when Lux deals more damage,is more reliable and her ulti deals dmg instantly in a line and has better range. Everything in his kit is unreliable yet he hardly deals more damage.As a support annie is better because of the stun and Annie is more reliable.

What's up with the auto attack refreshing passive stacks with 525 range while his abilites has around 1k range.It's quite easy to dodge his abilities especially his W if you didn't hit the enemy with Q or E beforehand BUT those are also easy to dodge.I mean his Q is pretty much useless in laning phase as it will be blocked by a minion most of the time or just straight up dodged.That leaves only E which has only 0.75 sec knock up.

So why would i pick Velkoz at all?Hell even Xerath is better as a siege mage.

The reason is that Vel is actually balanced. Lux has been overbuffed this season and Annie has been OP forever. As for Xer, I think they are very close in power levels.

The only thing Vel could need is a little bit more AP Scaling on his ult. 60% is pretty low actually. But he doesnt really need it either, hes the most balanced champion out there.
