Hence underrated.

She's a jack of all trades and specialists such as Soraka or Janna tend to be more noticed.

Sona is very underrated too, many people underestimate the power of her poke, sustain, utility and AoE stun.

lol what? he has a pretty high pick rate (relatively) and is widely considered to be overpowered at this time and for the last few patches.

I will have to echo the OP's sentiments and say Kennen as well. I am surprised Kennen doesn't see a ton of play , given his high damage potential and massive utility.

Urgot still gets a lot of hate and some still consider him a troll pick Volibear is commonly overlooked as a tank and as a jungler despite being very strong those are my candidates

But I think people are getting wise to him after his initial drop in win rate and popularity after his rework. He's a legit game changer right now once you learn his kit and get a little AP mid-late game.
