Garen's Q

Welp, his Q does a pretty big chunk of on hit damage, gives him a decent movement speed buff, and also silences. Considering the pretty short cd on his Q; something got to give.

Tbh my opinion Garen's Q shouldn't even silence, there's no way to counter play it, proceeds as following:

Garen uses Q, only option you have is to outrun it. Most time you won't cause he's already pretty close. So after you've had a chunk of hp taken and you're silenced your only option is to, we'll run. Cause you can't use any abilities. Cause you're silenced. Oh and he still has that movement buff so good luck.

To you maybe, my opinion it isn't, for a tank champion to have a high scaling AD damage Q along with a decent movement speed buff, and a silence seems a bit much especially now with his new villain passive

Especially the silence part, Garen would be fine with the good damage and speed boost, the silence seems excessive to me

then youll be pleased to hear that your concerns are unfounded.

because he isnt a "tank champ". hes beefy mostly because of the lack of real mobility, hard cc, and in combat sustain. but his job is to carry.

If that's true, all Garen's I've see recently have been building him 100% health armour tank and still dishing out crazy damage

That's because either your team doesn't have tanks, or they don't build health of any sort. Plus Garen uses item 3071 which he can easily get 30% armor pen out of from his Judgment (E) alone.

Lol Garen 's Q is fine, even against him it's only troubling if you let him hit you, or don't defend in any way, which I can make sure of it not happening, plus Garen's silence is his only CC. The only problem I actually have is that is ult is instant death against anything low on health, and has very little counter play against it, but that's not really a legit concern though. Other than that Garen is fine.
