Warwick needs some gameplay feel changes (opinion-based thread)
Gonna be short and sweet on how I feel about the new Warwick:
- His Q needs more range. It doesn't feel like an effective gapcloser unless you're already within auto-attack range of them. Reduce the damage or something, but make it actually usable to close in on people.
- Why does his W give only out of combat movement speed? It feels really bad that any residual damage brings his movement speed back down, and it's stupidly easy to render him about effective as a juggernaut in terms of chasing. Maybe take the route of Quinn and cause him to have reduced speed?
- Warwick doesn't feel like a drain tank, who thrives off of being in the middle of a fight and sustaining himself amidst the damage. He feels like a tank who just happens to have sustain, and more often than not that sustain is too weak to keep him from being bursted down by the likes of Lee Sin or Elise. Even lategame it's easy to annihilate him if he isn't much more fed than the enemy team. Anything that could be done for this to make him feel like a sustain-based tank, or is it just a failed concept that can't work?
In general, it feels like Warwick could just due with some gameplay feel improvements, even if it needs to come out of his power budget elsewhere like his damage. Like when Kled got the passive changes in exchange for reduced damage on his fourth W hit.
